George Cafe favours a burgerβled mix with clear, clean flavours. A riverside backdrop rounds out the stop. Packaging keeps things in good shape to go. Breakfast plates are tidy and satisfying. Plates offer plenty without weighing things down.
Such a gem of a cafe to find! The food was delicious and the staff were lovely and attentive. What I did find really strange though was a guy came inside with his 2 dogs not on leash and they just roamed around the cafe. This didnβt really sit well. Other than that I will be back as the food was lovely and inclusive
Great! Thank you :) love all the vegan options! So nice to go somewhere like this and feel there are great options for a plant based diet, instead of that you're missing out on decent food. I'm not a Tauranga local but I hope to be back, cheers!
My all time favourite vegan cafe right near the beach in Mt Maunganui . Definitely recommend if you are after the best coffee and vegan treats. The cinnamon buns are a must, garlic spinach and cheese scones are delicious and WOW I have never ever had a ginger slice like the scrumptious ones they make at this cafe.
Love this spot! Great, easy to reach location near Omanu beach, the staff here are all super friendly, and the coffee ALWAYS delivers. Iβm yet to dive into the food menu but Iβve heard itβs equally good. Keep up the good work team! Hamish Dorrington Kakapo Business Sales
Friendly local spot serving a generous plate of scrambled eggs. The house made bread is great - healthy, wholesome seeds and nuts with a crispy toasted crust. The side of greens was fresh and full of flavour, and the eggs were creamy. Coffee was lighter than my preferred dark roast, but this would be to do with their beans. I look forward to returning.
