   Ive come to cafe essence for years while living in Tauranga. We come to the cafe whenever we are in Tauranga. We live on the road and come in for breakfast while the washing is in the laundromat. Lovely food and coffee. Great helpings fresh and tasty. Highly recommend.

   Humble establishment with phenomenal homemade kai. We were so impressed with the quality. We particularly enjoyed the creamy mushrooms, scrambled eggs and smashed avocado on toast. Even the hollandaise is homemade. Just stunning.
