“This place is amazing, the food comes out so quickly. Every meal I have had is outstanding. My partner and I now come for brunch every Monday.”
“I wish all businesses were like this one: small and dedicated to their craft. Coffee makes you melt, scones are marvelous and bagels are delish! 10 out of 10. Good place!”
“Love this boutique cafe. Flatwhite was very well made. Bought two bags of bean and the coffee smell in the car highlighted all my trip. He gave me a pen and sticker as gifts also. Hopefully I will come back soon”

“Delicious coffee, friendly staff, really nice spot too”
“It's probably one of my personal favorite cafés in Matamata. Always humming, the atmosphere is relaxing and is an all-around great place to eat, drink, and talk. One time I went there and there was a live singer which was cool!”
“We've been here multiple times this past year, including for my birthday, and they've always delivered yummy food and great service. I will say that the last time we went, there was a large group and they were quite delayed in serving our drinks & dessert cocktail, but this was a one off, and I still think of Fox's as one of the best places to grab a bite. Their menu is quite inventive - both the drinks & the food - and their weekly specials make them even more enticing. You won't regret a meal here!”
“Excellent coffee roastery and cafe Well worth a visit, great friendly staff with yummy cabinet food and coffees”

“I love Rich Cafe! They know how to make an excellent coffee - and I'm fussy! Also the food is made on premises by owner/baker - top quality. Savouries particularly yummy. But also a good variety of choice that suits young and old, and moderately priced. Very roomy so tables not encroaching on other's space. A really great place to take a break.”

“Great all round Cafe. Coffee is really nice (I'm not a coffee officianardo myself but I always enjoy them) they have some great sweet treats for those with a sweet tooth like myself. Service is always great with staff being warm-hearted and welcoming.”
“Superb steak and cheese pie. Massive and delicious sausage roll perfectly complemented by the coleslaw it came with. Shared a big bucket of fries that were amazing, best I’ve had in New Zealand (okay I’ve only been here a week but I’ve had quite a few in my life and these are up there). Was a bit weird that the chips came out before the pies but this worked out nicely, the aioli and salsa were great. Nice that the pastry goodies were warmed in the oven not a microwave. Coffees were excellent. Service was good. Toilets were clean. All easily accessible.”

“Excellent gluten-free fish and chips! We all thoroughly enjoyed the batter despite only one of our group being coeliac; it was so light and crispy. The seafood lovers combo was an absolute treat too. We will be back, thank you!”
