Great store, excellent shopping experience. Recently visited the NL Rolleston shop to buy a TV which was out of stock on most stores. Team here did the best to make sure I would get one of the last pieces available in the country. Special mention tgoes to Ben, who went above and beyond to make the whole process seamless. I just came in for the Black Friday deals, I told the manager I would like to buy 3 JBL speakers and asked if he would price match as other places had it cheaper, he said no to price matching all 3. Well after I left I realised warehouse stationery in rolleston (right next door) have them for the cheaper price and I was able to go in and purchase 3 for the cheap price. It’s a shame you lost out on a purchase, but I’m now a happy customer shopping with them.
Purchased a dishwasher on Monday and paid in full with an extra $160 delivery fee locally: Delivery called my tenants advising payment not made. Not calling me who organise the purchase. Called Thursday asking why the delivery has not happened and after a long winded phone call was advised delivery will be Monday. Customer service did not care or offer anything to rectify. I was trying to support local but will NEVER return to this store. Their service was appalling:

Had amazing customer service from Simon who really went the extra mile to resolve an issue I had with some headphones. It's so great to see good old fashioned customer service is still allve and well at our local noel Leeming!
The staff member was very helpful but they didn't have what I was looking for.
Went to buy a TV and had Ben show us 2 TVs in our price range. We explained we weren't very tech savy etc...but there the communication stopped and he walked off. The shop wasn't busy. Ended up not buying locally and went to Smiths City in Hornby, where we had great service and purchased a new TV
We love Noel Leeming Rolleston. The staff are all extremely helpful and kind to deal with. Special mention to Simon,Sam and Ben who all have been extremely helpful on multiple occasions. We always leave the store with what we need and if we have any problems they have the knowledge to help. Highly recommend Noel Leeming Rolleston!

I worked here for a couple of days every now and then a couple of years ago. It's just another Noel Leeming, people are nice enough, but management has cycled.... and then there's also lovely people working in payday loan offices. The fact that I observed many Noel Leeming alumni refuse to purchase the product protection or damage insurance should be telling enough. Unfortunately noels carries a lot of borderline-ewaste computers too. They cause all sorts of issues when they make it out to the real world. You do get a 7 or 14 day cooling off period in which you can reconsider your mistake if you have bought the extended warranty. You should. If 'manufacturer's warranty period' is ever compared to the extended warranty then you've been pitched dishonestly (imo, of course) But, some nice enough sales guys... but do you really care how nice the waiters are if the food is cooked on the front of some guy's old honda?
