Excellent bar for interesting and fun nights out. Always something differnt and cool happening. Worthwhile checking out a show, trying their pizza, and staying late for karaoke. Lovely staff.
It's ok, mistakenly gave a different table (on a quiet evening) food we ordered but then the food was extremely over salted. Keep an eye on what times you're ordering food so you know if you received it/how long it took
We stumbled upon a cool little bar slightly off Courtenay Place in Wellington and ended up having such a fun night. We were drawn in because we heard some really good filler songs playing—these were the tracks they had on between the karaoke performances. We went in around 9 o’clock when karaoke was already going, and within an hour or two the place really came to life. It was such an amazing vibe with great music, a fun crowd, and plenty of energy. Definitely a memorable night out that happened by chance and turned into something awesome.
I have been a long time fan of Fringe bar and recently held my 21st Birthday there and it was literally better than I could have ever dreamed. The fringe team was all wonderfully easy to work and coordinate with. Communication, coordination and organization with management was absolutely top tier. Bar tending staff were also so much fun and made amazing drinks (I cannot recommend their cocktails and mocktails enough). The atmosphere was friendly and fantastic. The quality of the venue in terms of appearance, sound quality, cleanliness, lights, and overall atmosphere was incredible as always. I just cannot recommend Fringe Bar to people for their events enough! Also your food was so delicious. Everyone at the party told me it was the nicest event they had been to, with many comparing it to school balls but saying it was better than any of them. This literally meant the world to me and I really owe it to all of you. Thank you thank you thank you all so much!!
This bar is a "must see"!! A wee hidden gem hidden only 20 steps from courtney place. The entertainment is always fresh ( no stale piano man here) Evenings are fun, fast and absolutely fabulous!! Able to cater for that small romantic dinner for 2, or for your local indoor cricket team out for some fun. I have to mention the hard working, knowledgeable amazing team that work here most definitely a true attribute to the Fringe bar. I'm so at home here in this amazing wee gem, go have a look....... I can guarantee you will become a repeat offender.
Was there on monday for "raw meat" comedy night. Every monday 8pm for a good couple of hours. Get yourself a drink and support the comedians 8 or 9 in an evening each having a slot. 9,00 entry on line or ten bucks at the door. You will get great entertainment for that price.
