“Our 2 year old daughter started here 3 months ago and we are absolutely thrilled with this centre. It’s a wonderful, big, happy and exciting environment for the kids while also being surprisingly calm, and the teachers are truly wonderful. They have all been so kind and caring and have really helped to ease the transition for our daughter who has been nervous about starting kindy. You can tell that they are all truly caring and wonderful teachers. The centre also has a great routine with the kids and is well managed and privately owned which I think is a big benefit. “Don't be fooled by the cheap price! This is an A+ course. 2 x 5 hour sessions ( or 1 x 5 hour session if you cant lay aside the whoel weekend ) of full contact self defence. Charlie walks the line tactfully between providing some physical stress to somewhat mimic a real life situation and being understanding that people will bring a range of experiences to the course. I did this with my 13 year old daughter who now has the skills and attitude to survive if the worst happens. She loved the course and it was a great bonding weekend for us. Highly recommend!”

It is open, peaceful, full of light and surrounded by nature. I felt very supported on the early weeks where everything was new. Now, after 6 months, I can confidently say that NSGH was the best decision we could have made. I am amazed to see how my daughter is thriving, learning new things everyday, having fun no matter the weather outside. “Surfed at Muriwai surf school on Nov 15th with Myma and Thomas. Had the BEST experience!!! Myma is amazing!!! Very patient with extremely good instruction! We were in a group of 8 and everyone was able to get up ! The location is fantastic and absolutely beautiful. Both Thomas and Myma gave great instructions and kept us all very safe. Even though there were 8 of us it felt like we were in a private lesson. Both Thomas and Myma spent plenty of one on one time with everyone and we all had an amazing experience. Highly recommend!!!”

“I'm a parent of two children (11 y.o. and 4 y.o.), and both of them have attended this childcare. Honestly, I can’t praise the team enough for the incredible work they do with the kids. This year, many children moved on to school, and it was so heartwarming to see whole teams of teachers attending 5th birthday parties to celebrate and show their support. That says so much about the strong relationships they build. The teaching team has remained consistent over the years. When my younger child started, I already knew everyone—which gave me a great sense of trust. More importantly, the team works well together, they are genuinely happy in their roles, and they clearly love what they do. “I love the genuine passion and care the staff have for the kids. My little one at 9 months old had no trouble settling in, she is absolutely thriving there. “My daughter started Love and Joy a week after she turned one. She is 19 months now.We can see how much her language has developed over the last few months. She can speak so well and clearly although we are bilingual. She sings most of the rhymes with actions. She has become independent sleeping , eating and also can solo play if needed. She is very social and interactive with people she meets. We have also noticed that she cleans up after play and puts things back in her place. Thanks to Lee and her team of amazing, caring and nurturing teachers. They make sure that the child has eaten, slept and well looked after. Also, my son who is now in school went to Love and Joy .
