   If you are looking for a warm, nurturing and engaging environment for your toddler/preschooler then Poppies is absolutely the place to go! Our 3 yo boy has thrived at Poppies. So much learning and educating through fun and play. They also organise wonderful family events and fun out of kindy visits for parents and the kiddies alike. Lovely teachers, really cool outside play area and amazing resources and facilities - I would highly recommend Poppies.

   We’ve been with Poppies for over two years, and it’s been a wonderful journey. My daughter started as a shy little girl and has now grown into a cheerful, confident, and kind little girl. She truly loves Poppies — she loves her teachers and her friends, and it’s clear she feels happy, safe, and supported every day. The teachers are warm, professional, and genuinely dedicated. There are always fun and engaging activities happening, and every time I arrive at the centre, the teachers’ friendly smiles make me feel so reassured and welcomed. We feel so lucky to be part of the Poppies family. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a loving, high-quality early childhood centre.

   We couldn’t be happier with Poppies! Both of our kids have been attending for the past 5 years, and the teachers have been consistently amazing. The staff are super helpful and caring — mornings are always smooth because the teachers take the time to greet the kids, talk to them, and help them settle in with a warm hug if needed. One of the things we appreciate most is the low staff turnover, which creates a stable and comforting environment for the children. It’s clear that the team truly cares about the kids’ wellbeing and development. Highly recommend this centre to any parent looking for a supportive, loving, and reliable childcare environment!

   Poppies has been an incredible place for both my son and daughter. They absolutely love it there and love the teachers too! They really put a lot of care and effort into everything they do, organising great visits and talks from interesting people and organisations, as well as fabulous outings for the kids to great places to learn and play. We are incredibly happy with Poppies kindergarten and very lucky to have such a great one so close by.

   A very nice, warm and friendly place for children! Teachers are patient and professional, my child had a big improved on her language skill and self-care ability.    We graduated today, but the wonderful experience at Poppies will always stay with us. I still remember the first time we came to Poppies. Rhiannon, the principal, explained the facilities and daily activities in great detail and got my boy involved. He was a bit sensitive and shy because we just moved to NZ and his English was not very good then. Now he has made big progress and is no longer shy. From a quiet child, he became very active and involved in every activity. Before officially entering the kindergarten, several experiences will be arranged to help children adapt to the schedule of kindergarten. If the weather is good, the teacher will take the children out for a walk every week to learn about nature and the nearby parks and communities. There is also a 'transition to school' course to help children adapt to primary school. Thank God we found such a good kindy and we really enjoyed the time at Poppies. Rhiannan is a very responsible principal, Head Teacher Tania leads an excellent team of teachers, and Brooke, Kitty, Vanessa, and Michelle all really love children. If you're looking for a friendly, multi-cultural kindy, I highly recommend the Poppies.

Your companionship has nurtured them to grow in warmth and love. Your love and patience are like a gentle spring breeze, warming the hearts of her. Not only have you imparted knowledge, but also taught her kindness, understanding, and sharing. Her education has sowed seeds of love and gratitude in her heart, accompanying her daily as they grow.    I highly recommend this kindergarten to anyone who is looking for a nurturing and stimulating environment for their children. The teachers are very friendly and patient, and the students are adorable and fun. The kindergarten has a beautiful setting and offers a variety of activities for the kids.
