“This centre truly deserves more than just 5 stars. Phoebe and her incredible team are amazing with the kids. I have a non-verbal 4-year-old daughter, and since she started here, she has become so much more vocal! She even puts her own shoes away at home and washes her hands with soap. My autistic child used to struggle with following instructions, but since joining BSMC last year, she's made tremendous progress. Believe me when I say, I tried nearly 10 different centres before finding this one. From the moment I walked in, I felt something different, and I knew this was the right place for my girl. The staff are so patient and understanding with her. She absolutely loves going to daycare and always says "excited" when I drop her off. They make her feel safe and loved, and as a parent, what more could you ask for?”

“Very good day care . Ever since my son has joined he has gained alot of confidence. Made new friends and is always happy to go there. We could see the happiness in his eyes everyday and that's all we want from any daycare. So happy !!!”

“I started my martial arts journey at ground control and now I can grapple in live situations with CONFIDENCE. Ground control offers a great friendly environment with people of all ages and skill. I'm always nervous to go to training- as I'm a small fellow. But once I arrive the community is so friendly I leave forgetting that I was even worried in the first place, taking home essential skills with me. I can also appreciate the owner, Michael who also is always implementing changes and figuring out how he can make the most value out of his classes.”

“Our family loves Red Kite Preschool, we make the daily effort to travel 30minutes in traffic each day because the staff are so welcoming, professional and knowledgeable. We love that they have male teachers as role models, and that some of the teachers speak Mandarin & Cantonese to our children who are of Chinese decent. We did not hesitate to send our 2nd child into the baby room, as we know that the she is cared for with lots of love and adoration ”

“We have our son (4y) and daughter (1.5y) at BestStart Remuera road. I really feel like we hit the jackpot with this daycare. There is a real focus on our daughter's development in the baby room. They really care about her and she loves going everyday. I have noticed her recently excelling in her speech and even has started identifying colours. I was so nervous at first as it took her a while to settle – the staff were calm and reassured me of what is normal and I'm glad to now see her toddle in willingly! In the 2y and over room it's mixed ages like that of Kindergarten and they have started a "school ready" program for the 4y+ preschoolers. I feel like my own IQ has been bolstered by what my son has learnt over the past few months. He knows so much about the solar system and has started writing his name. The expertise the teachers here bring is definitely more than I ever hoped for. More than happy with Remuera Road!”

“Jake has been great this week - super helpful during the refresher dive as part of my ReActivate course and great fun as our skipper for a day of boat dives, along with instructor Jack who was also really fun and friendly. Highly recommend the dive shop and especially the boat day, as it was great to see more of Waiheke. Adam and the whole team were lovely when I was emailing from the UK arranging my dives and have been helpful and patient with me given it’s been a while since I’ve dived.”

He teaches everything from DnB through House to all the latest sounds. All tempos and mixing styles. “I was referred to Naveed to help with treatment for a damaged muscle. He was very thorough with both his questions and examination and showed care and empathy. Once he quickly worked out there may be a muscle tear he referred me for an urgent ultrasound, came back quickly with the result and referred me for further care. “I started at Altitude Pole Takapuna a year ago when I first moved to Auckland and it has been such an amazing part of my life. The instructors are perfect, no matter what skill level you are. “What makes this kindy so special is that it feels like a family. The team create a welcoming and caring environment and encourage every child to learn and play in line with their interests and at their own pace. The teachers are positive and engaged while also patient and they see the uniqueness in every child. Our daughter enjoys the atmosphere and made friends, quickly. The age spread is 2.5y to 5y and the group is relatively small which creates a very calm, kind, and compassionate environment for the kids. The kindy is affiliated with Glendowie Presbyterian Church, hence Christian values are key pillars of the concept and felt throughout. It's a small kindy with a big heart and we wouldn't want to send our daughter anywhere else.”

“Mina's a truly exceptional piano teacher. Her ability to connect with young children is remarkable. When my son, Alex, first started lessons at age 5, Mina's patience and understanding made learning fun. She's always encouraging, pushing him to reach his full potential while considering his age and developmental stage. I appreciate how Mina prepares concerts twice a year. These performances provide invaluable stage experience, helping Alex build confidence and overcome any performance anxiety. Her ability to tailor the lessons to Alex's interests is a huge plus. By incorporating pieces he enjoys, she's fostered a genuine love of music and playing the piano. I wholeheartedly recommend Mina as a piano teacher. Not only has she taught Alex piano skills, but she's also helped him grow as a person. Her dedication, expertise, and caring nature make her an outstanding instructor.”

“Marko has been such a massive help to our son with his NCEA level 2 Chemistry, Physics and Maths. He is very knowledgeable and brings the subjects to life with real world examples. The sessions are fun and interesting, and Marko goes beyond and challenges our son to work out the answers for himself.”

In the beginning, she struggled to settle in and I found it hard to leave her, but with the reassurance and support from the amazing teachers and staff, we slowly watched her grow into loving kindy.
