   I'm a parent of two children (11 y.o. and 4 y.o.), and both of them have attended this childcare. Honestly, I can’t praise the team enough for the incredible work they do with the kids. This year, many children moved on to school, and it was so heartwarming to see whole teams of teachers attending 5th birthday parties to celebrate and show their support. That says so much about the strong relationships they build. The teaching team has remained consistent over the years. When my younger child started, I already knew everyone—which gave me a great sense of trust. More importantly, the team works well together, they are genuinely happy in their roles, and they clearly love what they do. That joy and commitment reflect in how much they achieve with the children. I absolutely recommend this place. You can trust them with your little ones. Even if the building doesn’t look the flashiest from the outside, inside it’s full of love, care, and real focus on the wellbeing of both children and staff.

   The Children’s House Montessori Daycare has been a part of my life for over a decade, and I honestly can’t imagine a better environment for children to learn and grow. My journey with them began during high school when I did my Gateway work experience there. Even then, I could feel how special the atmosphere was—calm, nurturing, and deeply respectful of each child’s individual journey. Years later, my daughter, who is now 10, attended The Children’s House, and it was such a gift to watch her thrive under the guidance of the teachers. Most recently, my son, who just turned 5, also attends and once again, it has been an incredible experience. They are kind, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. You can see their passion and love for what they do in every interaction. They treat each child with care and respect, always encouraging independence, confidence, and curiosity in a beautiful Montessori way. The environment is calm, structured, and thoughtfully designed to spark and encourage learning through play and exploration. My children always came home happy, confident, and full of stories about what they had discovered. I wholeheartedly recommend The Children’s House Montessori to any family looking for a nurturing, high-quality early learning environment. It’s more than a daycare—it’s a second home.

   Montessori philosophy is a wonderful start to a child's success. Being qualified to teach and engrain the curriculum is the most important; without this training, it is intangible. Every trained teacher matters as much as every child - this is evident at TCH. Be open, supportive and ready to implement their teachings and pour your support into your child at Monte and at home. Here at TCH, the highly trained teachers are very mindful and purposeful in all their teachings, activities, and actions. My son has had the best start to his life by attending here.

   Highly recommend this childcare! Two of my tamariki have attended. The teachers are amazing, caring and nurturing. Both kids have progressed a lot with their learning and development, and look forward to kura every day. It's a very diverse daycare and they welcome all cultures and backgrounds. My kids are Samoan, Maori and Malaysian Chinese and their culture and identity is always embraced. I love this daycare and always feel assured that my kids are receiving the best care & education when I'm at mahi.

   100% recommend this center. Both of my children went there and I'm absolutely happy with staff, learning programs and the overall atmosphere. Most of the teachers have been in the center for many years and are genuinely love their job, they are kind and i haven't heard any complaints about them from either kids or parents. The center is relatively small, so kids have a great care and support in their learning. Academics are taught very well, my son learned his ABC and numbers perfectly despite we don't speak/teach English at home. He lives his kindy and very happy to go there everyday. Montessori environment has definitely helped my kids to be organized, to get confidence in their ideas and skills and leadership. As a parent I see a great confidence in them and just can't recommend this center enough

   Best Start Montessori's greatest asset is its teachers and staff. A lovely, clean, nourishing and welcoming space where identity, culture and care is celebrated and welcomed. The centre manager is flexible, supportive and a mother to all and so are the teachers. I feel that my son has grown so much at the centre. He enjoys going to school, trusts his teachers and feels safe and secure. I highly recommend the centre for those who are looking for an extended home setting.

   I have 2 of my children attending here and could not be happier knowing that they are learning, exploring and thriving every day at BestStart Montessori. I didn't know much about Montessori but can honestly say that it has been a blessing to both my kids (who have very different personalities!). The teachers here all have a genuine love for the children and their learning journeys and I love how it feels like one big family. Not to mention their fees are affordable! I could not recommend this pre-school more. With a new baby on the way, we will no doubt be signing him up to attend as soon as he can :)
