“A great culture to the club; everyone works hard, is very supportive, and welcoming to any ability level. The teacher is very approachable and always willing to help the members out with their skills, during AND after class. Parents are regularly watching their children with smiles on their faces and getting feedback on progression. A great place for anyone looking to develop themselves outside their current standing.”

“I'm a parent of two children (11 y.o. and 4 y.o.), and both of them have attended this childcare. Honestly, I can’t praise the team enough for the incredible work they do with the kids. This year, many children moved on to school, and it was so heartwarming to see whole teams of teachers attending 5th birthday parties to celebrate and show their support. That says so much about the strong relationships they build. The teaching team has remained consistent over the years. When my younger child started, I already knew everyone—which gave me a great sense of trust. More importantly, the team works well together, they are genuinely happy in their roles, and they clearly love what they do. That joy and commitment reflect in how much they achieve with the children. I absolutely recommend this place. You can trust them with your little ones. Even if the building doesn’t look the flashiest from the outside, inside it’s full of love, care, and real focus on the wellbeing of both children and staff.”

“We are so grateful to the amazing teachers at Little Star. When my first child started, she didn’t speak a word of English and everything was new to her. Thanks to the teachers’ care and support, she grew in confidence and learned so much. During the primary school transition visits, she joined the class so naturally, reading, speaking, and writing with the other children, and even answering questions with excitement. I truly appreciate all the love and encouragement that helped her get ready for this next step.”

    Kindercare Learning Centres - Silverdale

    ★★★★★ 5
    Closed

“A centre that feels like home when you walk through the door; we are always warmly greeted by Denise, Janna or Jane at the front desk. Kids are then welcomed into their room by the amazing, nurturing kaiako. The staff are passionate, highly skilled at their jobs and offer so much support to families; whether its helping with settling your child in the morning, toilet training or remembering what's important in each child's life at home. Amy makes the most delicious meals which our kids both loved and despite using Amy's exact recipes to recreate these meals at home, our daughter tells us "you need to ask Amy how to make it as good as hers!" We consider ourselves very fortunate to have found Kindercare as we don't have whanau in Auckland, but having such a special place for our kids is the next best thing. Both our kids had five years being lovingly cared for by the unique Kindercare Silverdale team - after ten years of being part of the Kindercare whanau, it is really hard to imagine saying goodbye to the centre later this year when our baby turns five. Highly recommend!”

“I had the absolute pleasure of facilitating a breathwork journey at Kanuka Yoga Space, and I can’t recommend it enough! The space itself is nothing short of beautiful — serene, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed to create the perfect environment for any wellness practice. What truly made my experience unforgettable, though, was the communication with Raquel and Stu. From start to finish, they were incredibly welcoming, organized, and professional. Their passion for creating a positive space for people to grow and connect is truly inspiring. Raquel and Stu's attention to detail and warm hospitality made the whole process seamless, and I felt completely supported every step of the way. I can tell they genuinely care about the people they work with, and that energy really shines through in everything they do. I thoroughly enjoyed leading the breathwork journey, and I’m confident anyone who has the opportunity to visit Kanuka Yoga Space will leave feeling uplifted and nourished. I look forward to working with them again in the future! Thank you, Raquel and Stu, for such an incredible experience!”

“Our child has been attending Kindercare Warkworth since they were 6 months old, they're just under 2 now and we can't speak more highly of our and their experience thus far. The Kaiako are friendly and loving, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming and they do so many interactive activities throughout the day, no matter the weather. It's also so nice to not have to worry about packing food as meals and snacks are all covered. We've watched our child go from strength to strength with their movement, confidence, speech and everything else. On the very rare occasion that there have been issues, they've been resolved promptly and professionally and we've been involved every step of the way. We feel confident that our child is in a safe and nurturing environment and absolutely recommend Kindercare Warkworth to anyone looking for a fantastic daycare.”

“I cannot overstate how fantastic Elyssa Vulpes’ teaching has been. After 10 years of trying and failing to teach myself the piano, I finally decided to get lessons. It really proved how a good teacher is so worth it. Elyssa tailored her lesson plan to fit my needs and goals (namely improvisation around chords). She always comes prepared for each lesson and can show why each drill/skill she teaches is important and how it connects to my goals. She is aware of the difficulties of being a beginner at an instrument and is able to create an environment so that you stay encouraged and motivated. Her expertise, preparation and support have been invaluable. If you are looking for a music teacher who will make you achieve your goals, look no further!”

“We are so grateful to Sonia for taking us on and sharing her expertise with us on such short notice! She helped choreograph not only one, but TWO beautiful wedding dance routines for us and with just two lessons (and lots of practice) we left feeling confident and so excited for our first dance. Sonia made us feel comfortable, confident and most of all happy during our classes and we feel so lucky to have found her. We highly recommend Sonia to anyone getting married - we weren’t sure about the whole choreographed first dance thing and we were just going to wing it, but we’re so glad we did this. If you are on the fence like we were, just go for it - she will help make you feel more confident and excited about it all and you won’t regret it!”

“I have followed the IOAI for many years and watched the Institute develop into an all round - open minded club that throws politics out the door and lets students learn at their own pace and their own competent level no matter what style they practice in their own dojo. I have brought a few of my own students to his seminars that are packed with so much information and training ideas from some very high tier instructors who are more than willing to help out any and all visitors. Head instructor Sensei Dunken Francis is not afraid to pressure test any techniques and look at cross-training with other styles, something not often found in the dojos with old style attitudes. Highly recommended!”

“The IDI Interior Design Course was one of the most enjoyable courses I have completed. I was very impressed with the content of the course and the way that it was presented. It was comprehensive, challenging, practical but manageable. Each module has been well thought out and has all the information and more to allow you to successfully complete each assignment. When starting each assignment, at times, I did feel a little overwhelmed, but each module methodically guided me through the content to be able to present a successful assignment. The samples of previous students' work were also a great help. All the content will serve as a great resource and reference going forward. The website and all online content were great to use and were very student-friendly. The course worked you through preparing for your own business or employment, and I now believe I have the skills and knowledge to work with confidence and advance in the industry. I am excited to receive my Diploma and then complete an Advanced Module. Many thanks to my tutor Sophie Seeger and the team at IDI. I would absolutely recommend the course to anyone beginning their Interior Design journey or those wanting to refresh their Design knowledge. With Gratitude Jennifer”

“My daughter started at KinderCare Constellation with very little English, and I was worried about how she would adjust. Howard, her Lead Teacher, has been incredibly responsible and caring. Kay has also been very responsible, always replying to my emails on time and in detail, which I greatly appreciate as a parent. After just three weeks, my daughter told me she likes Howard, and she has also made many new friends in the class. This gave us so much relief as parents, knowing she is both happy and supported. The staff’s patience, communication, and encouragement have really helped her feel comfortable. We also enjoy the daily updates and pictures, which keep us connected to her day. Thank you to Howard, Kay, and the whole team for creating such a supportive environment!”
