Sunbeams has been a wonderful experience for my son and our family. He transitioned from another daycare at 3 and was so well supported as he settled in. The teachers are amazing - kind, engaging, fun, professional - they make Sunbeams really special :)
Our daughter has had such a wonderful start at Sunbeams. The staff are all so friendly and caring and the space feels like home, which is exactly what we wanted from a kindy. Each day new, fun activities have been set out around the kindy for the children to explore, learn and play with. It's an inspiring, nurturing place that we are so happy to be a part of.
Sunbeams is amazing kindergarten for children/tamariki aged 2-5. Our daughter has attended since she was 2 (now 3.5). She settled really quickly and absolutely loves her days there! It is owner operated and managed really well and staffed with the most amazing and welcoming teachers/kaiako. Such a great bunch of kids too! The morning drop offs are easy as there are always several activities set up including baking every morning. There are several teachers on hand to help get the kids settled and involved, making saying goodbye easy. So many cool and fun activities during the day too. Sunbeams has a lovely kindergarten ‘vibe’. It feels homely, is nurturing and the resources and activities are well suited for the age group. My husband and I both work and we love being able to still send our daughter to a kindergarten. Sunbeams works well for us as they have longer hours than the public kindergartens and operate during the school holidays providing us with flexibility. I would highly recommend Sunbeams if you are looking for childcare in or around the area.
Our 2 daughters attended Sunbeams and they absolutely loved it! The teachers are fantastic! They create so many fun, creative opportunities for the kids and our kids developed a personal relationship with the staff making them feel happy and safe at kindy. It was always easy to drop the kids off in the morning because they'd be looking forward to attending.
Love Sunbeams! Can’t say enough about how awesome & caring they are. The staff and leadership team are engaging, helpful & supportive with both standard, and special requests. It has a homely vibe which was important to us in picking our kindy. Bravo to the Sunbeams team.
My 2 children adored Sunbeams. We had previously attended 2 different daycares and walking in for our 1st visit Sunbeams just felt right and we knew our children would be nurtured and thrive here. The kind teachers is what sets them apart. They really get to know the children and bring out different strengths and abilities in each of them. The activities are so creative and varied and it's just such a brilliant set up. Family are invited to various events throughout the year which is so lovely. I highly recommend Sunbeams. Thank you so much to all the amazing teachers there. We will miss you all.
Our 2 kids have attended Sunbeams for the last 4 years (from 2 years old). It has without a doubt been the best choice we could have made. The teachers are amazing and so are the activities. Sunbeams is a highly organised, progressive and nurturing home away from home. All ages are in the same group which is so beneficial for their formative years. Thank you Sunbeams for the amazing ELC you provide.
Sunbeams feels like an extension of our whanau. Our child has been attending since age two and the transition from home to daycare was made to be really seamless with the support and encouragement of the Sunbeams team. Our child absolutely loves his daily experience at Sunbeams and often asks to go at the weekend! We love Sunbeams focus and the teams style very much reflects and aligns to our own. We also love how Sunbeams creates a sense of community with families through the regular open days and morning teas, which bring everyone together. I would absolutely recommend Sunbeams.
We absolutely LOVE Sunbeams! Our son Samuel has been attending for almost one year now, and he loves Sunbeams! I viewed five other daycares and kindy's (none felt quite and right, and a couple I was like 'ruuuuun!'), before finally listening to my sister and visiting Sunbeams. Walking in the front door, it just felt like home. Go and visit, i'm sure you will feel it too! :) The Teachers are absolutely wonderful, creating amazing spaces and activities for the kids to play each day. It feels really good to drop Samuel off knowing he is going to not only be learning through play, but also forming friendships and be in a really positive environment while he is there, which is so, so important. He is absolutely thriving at Sunbeams, and we are so grateful for their love and support of our son and family. Our daughter will turn 2yo in August, and she is looking forward to attending Sunbeams too, if our kindy drop offs are anything to go by! Much love, The Indrisie Family xo
