I just completed a two day course with Sarah, Carrie and Mandy. They were so welcoming, non judgemental and cater to every ability and confidence levels in the class. What they taught was eye opening, using common real life scenarios that could happen and what you can do to get out of them. They do not sugar coat things either, be prepared to get physical and mentally challenged - this is great for practicing for real life scenario. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and I will definately be back! It was a challenging fun two days. Thank you guys!
Don't be fooled by the cheap price! This is an A+ course. 2 x 5 hour sessions ( or 1 x 5 hour session if you cant lay aside the whoel weekend ) of full contact self defence. Charlie walks the line tactfully between providing some physical stress to somewhat mimic a real life situation and being understanding that people will bring a range of experiences to the course. I did this with my 13 year old daughter who now has the skills and attitude to survive if the worst happens. She loved the course and it was a great bonding weekend for us. Highly recommend!
Our community recently hosted a two-day workshop for girls and ladies, and it was an absolute success! The positive feedback we received from the participants is a testament to the workshop's impact on their confidence and skills. We had an incredible instructor, Ash. Her approach was nothing short of amazing. Ash not only made all the participants feel at ease but also added a sense of fun and enthusiasm into every session. The hands-on and practical nature of the sessions and drills ensured that the ladies not only absorbed vital information but also had the opportunity to apply it in real-life scenarios. The workshop left a lasting impact on the participants, who expressed feeling more confident by the end of the two days. Our community is grateful to Charlie and Ash for the success of this workshop, and we look forward to hosting more workshops in the future!
I took a four hour self defence class with Sarah with a LGBTQIA+ group. Sarah was welcoming, everyone seemed to feel included and it was a fun, helpful and confidence boosting experience that taught practical skills. I highly recommend.
Just completed one day of the self defence course in Tauranga with Sarah. The way the course was run was great, so many practical scenarios and stress drills really put you in the real life situation. It was a lot of information for one day, so I would probably recommend doing the two days if possible! Also, expect a good workout, I think I will be sore tomorrow…! But overall such great, important information with superb delivery, thank you!!
