“We had a wonderful stay at Touchwood Motor Inn in Remuera, Auckland! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We were pleasantly surprised to receive an upgrade since the original room we booked was a bit too small for our group of four. The upgraded room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped, allowing us to enjoy our stay even more. The location is also convenient, close to shops and restaurants, making it easy to explore the area. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Auckland!"”

“Staying here for the past 10 months. It's one of the best places to be with! You'll never get over the classic ceilings, wooden carvings and the city views. Currently the Aotea Station is being constructed next to this building. When the Aotea stations opens here by 2023, this building will probably be one of the best places to live in, at Auckland!”

“Motel 22 is a clean and tidy place to stay in Wellington. The rooms are well-maintained, and I have never experienced such great service or quality accommodations at any other motel in the area. The owner, Wells, is supportive and a genuinely nice person. He also offers us a great price for these wonderful rooms. I highly recommend staying at Motel 22 in Wellington.”

“As a traveler who practically lives in hotels globally, this place is absolutely top-tier. Finding staff this genuinely warm and eager to help totally proves my point: great service is completely defined by the little details... They just anticipate everything! Like when they enthusiastically brought us a side table for tea outside—even though we didn't ask Or the front desk noticing my glasses and politely handing me a cleaning cloth. Gotta love that kind of personal touch, it’s just phenomenal! If you appreciate a team where the details truly make the difference, you gotta stay here!”

“One of the best places to stay in this area. I've have been a number of times and my mum has been staying here a few times a month for years for her work. They are very accommodating and quick to bring you something like extra towels. Their pool is under cover and is usually tepid. The rooms are clean and relatively new. They are also in the process of upgrading the bathrooms in all of their rooms. The owner is one of the loveliest people to deal with, she makes you feel welcome and as if nothing is a problem. My mum has back and knee problems sometimes so the owner would switch out dining room chairs with her own ones. You don't get this kind of service from many places.”

“Cannot fault this practice. In spite of exceptionally difficult and frustrating times for all GP's in a fast-expanding Papamoa with an acute GP shortage, we have always been looked after by friendly, helpful reception and nursing staff who do their very best to get us sorted. Dr Natasha Roberton (and before her Dr Liam Tranter) somehow still makes time to listen kindly to her patients and focus on what is important/necessary for them, leading to positive outcomes. A big thank you. Highly recommended!”

“Overall, we had a very positive experience with them. We appreciate the professional service we received at Birthcare, and we absolutely love Kate and Lazzie, who demonstrate genuine care and profound commitment to the child, the mother, and the whānau. It was a very touching experience to see how they hold and talk about our baby, and how they model breastfeeding and baby-care techniques. We had to stay there for four days, and we experienced thorough and thoughtful care from at least seven staff members. All of them are professional and, in general, know what's best for our child. At first, it might feel like you experience inconsistent care and standards (which might be slightly true); however, the brighter side of this is that we learned so much from different staff members, as they all have their (unique) strengths. We also need to be aware that many of the staff members come from a different cultural background, and English may not be their native language, so it may take a while for you to fully understand them. For a minute, I even thought a few of them were quite condescending, but when you take their advice with an open heart and active listening skills, you might soon realise it is just how passionate they are about their job and how much they want to share what's best for you, even if you might not like the way they told you at first. Plus, the food is nice. A small surprise was that there was one time a student midwife (a quite capable one) came and performed a check-in and standard procedure. But she was not under any supervision during that time. Neither did she introduce herself as a student midwife until I found out. Highly recommend this place, especially if you are a first-time parent. We definitely learned so much!! Thank you, thank you, and very best from the bottom of our hearts.”

“Reading some of these reviews I find really unfair. We had a great stay for 1 week. There were atleast 20 people staying in the hostel at this time and never once did we struggle to find somewhere to cook or chill out in peace. Multiple showers and kitchens. Comments on the clenliness of a hostel is more a reflection on the people staying there than it is the management- it only takes a couple minutes to create a mess. Jason the manager really is a top guy and went out of his way to help me out after an unexpected thing popped up meaning my plans changed, again I find comments criticising him completely out of character and undue. Thanks for having us, would have happily stayed for a couple months to work longer. Jack & Tara”

“Where comfort meets location- we loved our stay at the Lodge! Wonderfully situated near the train station, a wonderful coffee shop (Handpicked Roasters), bottle shop, superette, and many tasty international food options. It is an older building, but we found it cozy and loved the bed heaters, dining area, and the fact that they had all the fifa football channels. If you're looking for an affordable, comfy spot outside of the city, this is it!”
