   This is for the campervans, not the cabins. We booked and paid online but when we arrived, there was no staff there. Apparently check in was before 7:30, but the site we booked on didn’t say that, neither did their FAQ. On the door it said “checking in late? No problem. Call…” couldn’t call since we had no NZ phone number and phone booth on site didn’t work with intl credit cards. Finally we borrowed a phone and the worker told us to go to a spot. Too bad he had told another woman who arrived at the same time to go to that same spot. When she called the worker, he was mad and said he was far away and we all should have been there on time. We ended up squeezing vehicles in and sharing the spot, and later we heard other guys saying they had the same problem that night. All in all, it was fine to just sleep there. Showers were a bit dirty, but free. Location was good. But owners should have spots reserved and know who is staying where so overbooking doesn’t happen. Not sure if it was overbooked accidentally or purposefully, but it definitely made arrival a hassle.

   Health Alert!! The worst experience of accommodation I've got as far. It relatived to their mouldy units! It caused me keep dry caughing over 1 week and made my voice hoarse. Unfortunately, I haven't got back to normal yet even now. 2 weeks before, I checked into unit 4, I saw all the windows opened but I still smelled a musty smell. I was hoping it would be better after ventilate. But definitely not! I started coughing in the second half of the night and couldn't go back to sleep until I was very tired. Next night, it's getting worse to me, I coughed all night although I sleeped in the living room . I can't ignore my intense physical reaction. Just before I left the unit, I figured out those mould have been covered by white painting above mouldy wall papers. Mouldy spores are invisible, you breath them into your lungs and get infected.That's it causing me feel so bad. I did tell them what I was suffering when I checked out. They had no response and no apology either. Such good position, but harmful conditions of those units. They can't leave them on booking before they eliminate mould! Anyway, your lungs can't be filters to those mould spores! You can' t be cheated by them to take the risk of your health.

   A wonderfully placed camp in Remuera. Camp in good order and clearly gradual upgrading in progress. Facilities very clean and friendly staff worked hard daily to keep toilet & shower blocks as clean as possible. Pool a huge plus in the hot summer weather. Our 1 week stay couldn't have been better. Thank you.

   We had a wonderful stay at Touchwood Motor Inn in Remuera, Auckland! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We were pleasantly surprised to receive an upgrade since the original room we booked was a bit too small for our group of four. The upgraded room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped, allowing us to enjoy our stay even more. The location is also convenient, close to shops and restaurants, making it easy to explore the area. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Auckland!"
