   I strongly do not recommend this motel and will never stay here again in my life. I had very bad experiences due to the exceptionally poor service. If you have booked this motel, cancel it as soon as possible. I stayed at this motel from 22–23 October 2025 with my family and friends (7 people). We arrived at Auckland International Airport and contacted the motel for the shuttle pickup as arranged, but we couldn’t find the driver. When we called the staff, he said he had already returned to the motel because he couldn’t find us—yet he never tried to contact us. He told us to take a taxi or public transport to the motel and said he would not come back to pick us up. We had to find our own way. How could they do this to seven elderly people with large luggage? They took no responsibility at all. ***For more information about the poor service: the staff replied to our email the day after the incident, he told us to find our own way to the motel (at that time we already checked out). We did complain when we arrived at the motel by taxi, and the same staff member even told us not to come back and to find a new motel. He used very rude and inappropriate language. Think carefully before booking—if you want good service, do not come to this motel. The staff have the worst manners I have ever experienced. The room itself was okay, but the oven didn’t work. I called for help, and the same staff member answered and told us he would come to check it, but he never showed

   This motel is a classic example of getting what you pay for. If you are uncomfortable in a cheap motel don't book this one. I found the rooms to be clean and comfortable. The owner was pleasant and accommodating. Shower worked well, beds were cozy, room freshly painted. Overall I found it to be pretty much as expected for the price. Pretty annoyed at $20 for an early check in despite the room being ready to go. Thanks to the owner for having us stay despite our noise.

   Overnighter after arriving on late international fight,arranged for key in Dropbox. Room and beds were very comfortable and ideal for our needs. Free shuttle was a huge bonus. Highly recommend

   I stayed one night at Air Travel Motel before my early flight the next day. The stay was good — the room was renovated and clean. The hotel owner provided complimentary airport pick-up and drop-off service, which is a big plus for budget travellers. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and will definitely come back again!

   I stayed at this motel for one night during a road trip, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. Check-in was smooth and the front desk staff were friendly and efficient. The room was clean, moderately spacious, and had all the basics I needed—comfortable bed, working air conditioning, mini-fridge, and induction-stove top. The décor was slightly dated but well-maintained, and the bathroom was surprisingly clean with fresh towels and good water pressure in the shower. Parking was easily accessible, which was a big plus. Noise levels were low despite being near a main road, and I had a good night’s sleep. Overall, this motel provided good value for the price. It’s not luxury, but for a 3–4 star property, it delivered on cleanliness, comfort, and convenience. I’d definitely consider staying here again for a short stopover.
