Grocery store in New Zealand

“COUNT WORTHS ... AKA WOOL DOWN ... or whatever their calling the place this week is my preferred place to grocery shop ... Because they have staff that are abundant , available , friendly helpful & kind ... The specials are often far better value than the others . The policy of refund & replacement is seldom called upon but when it is the result is immediate which insures customer satisfaction . The wheelchair one may borrow suits this old biker who enjoys visiting his friends that are friends”

“Very nice Woolsworth to shop at. Rain or shine it's a great place. While in rain it has underground parking which is available for everyone. The staff are awesome with very helping nature. Always recommend to use this Woolsworth for shopping.”

“A quick visit to this reasonably brand new supermarket. Lights have been added on the corner of the main road to allow ease of access by cars, etc.. Busy place, and there's a pharmacy. Car parking is tight, so take care.”

“This is our local shop, I love the staff here and are welcoming and helpful. Always friendly and a great variety for a small corner shop. We love taking a walk here for ice cream, grabbing something needed, ahould this be sweets , nzpost , crips, bread, milk, butter, even frozen pizza! Kids always want to run in for ice cream and have become their favorite shop. A real must for any small quick shops to avoid the big shops.”

The breads were beautifully arranged, and it was clear they had just come out of the oven, with a perfect golden-brown color and soft texture. The variety made it easy to find something for every taste, and everything looked incredibly fresh. The pastries were equally impressive, with an assortment of sweet and savory options. The shelves were stocked with everything from buttery croissants to fruit-filled Danishes, and each item was carefully placed to make it easy to choose. I particularly appreciated how the bakery section was not cluttered, and the items were placed in a way that highlighted their freshness. The labels were also clear, making it simple to find what I was looking for. The staff in the bakery were friendly and approachable, offering assistance and helping me with some product recommendations. The overall atmosphere was clean, and the area was well-maintained, which made shopping for baked goods an enjoyable experience. Overall, my visit to Woolworths Chartwell was fantastic. “We came here during the trip to Rotorua. Nice place to do grocery shopping. Some nice displays at the produce section and they offer free fruit for children. The seafood section had some nice displays. There is also a discounted foods section. Overall fair variety of things, including in international section. We also surprised to see pharmacy. Its like in other countries like US. Disappointingly small space and variety. Didnt have what we wanted but the nice kind lad showed alternatives and showed where else we can go even though it was past closing time. Some staff looked overworked. The other pharmacy we went to had far better variety and was more spacious. There is even a self checkout for you to get out in express time. Overall good atmosphere. Cleaner than the Paknsave next door.”

“Don't usually go in here to shop but was in the area so hopped in for some GF things with my okker son. Oh my ... Yr bakery has a huge range of all the things we're NOT allowed to eat. If their prices weren't so high in there, I would def get my grocs there, but alas way too expensive. Love the shop itself though as it's clean and signage is gd. Large range of lots of items. Any chance Countdown you could drop those prices by at least 20% ?”

“Only complaint is to get to the Technical department, you have to walk Miles through the Furniture department. If you have restricted mobility, don't bother.”
