This was my first time going in to this store, the store was clean and tidy, went in to get my usual loaves of bread as PNS did not have them! I would recommend to anyone to shop here as the atmosphere is good and all the shelves were quite filled. I will surely go there again to shop
Generally pretty nice, but employee attitudes is something you really need to improve. I am a regular customer, do my grocery shopping once a week, in this two weeks the two checkout operators I have seen are extremely rude. One seems like he cannot distinguish between oranges and mandarin. The other one does no talking to customers at all, but she did talk to her colleague when her colleague walked by. So she could talk but she chose to keep silence when facing customers. No greeting, no asking if I have the onecard, no asking if I’m using cash or eftpos, no asking if I need the receipt or not. Very nice training, you could have hired a robot to do her job, I’m sure a robot will be more helpful than her
Forget what the ads say, Countdown is the cheapest supermarket. I have all 3 on my desktop each week and compare the prices and it’s CD every time. Even if this wasn’t the case, the online shoppers at this store choose better fruit and veg than I have ever managed. And their pick-up service is a time saver in a protected area and run very efficiently. Add to this a sheltered carpark and aisles that aren’t cluttered with Shelf fillers during the day like the other supermarkets, why would you go anywhere else?
Very well stocked and spacious. I found this countdown to have almost everything. Also has a pharmacy inside the store. Quite spacious. It can get busy during peak times. Staff are helpful. Abundance of parking including undercover. Centrally located. Can be a bit tricky getting in and out during peak times and one way roads.
