I usually find this place convenient and the staff helpful. However, I was really disappointed during my recent visit. One of the female Chinese staff members was extremely rude while I was paying. She even threw the items on the counter, which made me feel very uncomfortable. I hope the management can address this, as it affects the overall experience.
Expensive. Bought an in-date, by 6 days, Imperfectly Perfect brand chicken and cranberry pizza. Supposedly fresh with fresh herbs. Straight home and in fridge for tea next night. Well, cheese by then was moldy and the rocket was composting! Very disappointing. Complained to NW and producer of pizza.
I went to buy some lollies from the store, they have these containers for the lollies and I thought it’s a good idea as that looks better than a bag to give them away to a kid. At the checkout I have been told those containers cost $7.5 each, they didn’t put a sign there anywhere and I can’t return the container as I have put the lollies in them already. Still paid for them but really unhappy about the service, the young guy at check out were not polite as well ( he went to check the lollies area like he suspected I was lying when I told them I filled the empty container myself as I didn’t know the price is per box). $7.5 is not much but it is more the way he treated his client especially New World is established itself for good service that different from other stores.
Clean and well-lit with spacious isles and perfect shelving. Spoiled for choice across all items, and very well-trained staff who give customers five star service. The very best shopping experience. New World Eastridge makes shopping for groceries a pleasure
Went to Remuera New World was Looking for Boneless lamb shoulder they had Nothing so came to Eastridge Absolutely Outstanding Butchery probably the best in New Zealand got 2 Lamb Shoulder Boneless Roasts and 2 Lamb Shanks will definitely be back
This is a best place to find European Food, very good assortment, tidy and great parking.
Great store all round. Design, quality, freshness, excellent deli. The instore chickens tasty and juicy. Their cook ham on the bone is a real treat, small specialty butcher and a larger range of meats, delish bakery, large variety of alcohol. Very clean and great customer service.
A good store where a great deal of trouble was taken in the presenting all of the goods for sale. I presume the prices were very competitive but visiting from the UK I feel am unable to comment. A very clean supermarket with great shops to temped you as you make your way in.
