   Very cool place to shop. Wide selection of products from which everyone can choose something for themselves. The store is very large by New Zealand standards. Prices decent. Definitely cheaper than in smaller stores downtown and in Australia. I think the prices are close to European averages. The store located on the way to the beaches with a large parking lot, where it was not a problem to park a car. The parking lot overlooks the mountains, and there is a gas station nearby. Only the service staff could be more friendly and helpful.

   Shopped at 8pm, closes 10pm Deli case packed up, young deki girl picking meat and eating it... trolleys of refillers for africa...unfriendly... Stock low. Prices high. Not keen to return.

   Much better biscuit selection than New World and their homebrand (soups, microwave curries and hot chocolate) are pretty damn good. Almost always has eggs on the shelves and has a large alternative foods section (e.g. serious popcorn).

   Super chaotic - time your visit around the busy times if possible! It was so crowded and manic at lunch time today that we left with only the essentials instead of finishing shopping. Otherwise it seems fine - I think it could be a pretty decent Countdown at less busy times.

   So far, this is the most organized, clean and beat countdown in Christchurch that i’ve been too. I really enjoyed getting my grocery here. The vegetables and fruits too are well presented. Lots of parking spaces too. The staff are nice. Keep up the good work. ☺️
