“Friendly staff. It is a big store but easy to find whatever you are looking for. Parking is easy with under ground parks. Located in the heart of Hamilton. The main transport hub for the cities public transport is handy. Just across the road. Open till midnight. Disability parking spaces are available.”
“Such an awesome shop and has always been my favorite in hamilton. It always has the stock no other store has in hamilton. It’s always nice and clean and tidy too. Easy laid out also. Toilets were located right to the right when you walk in and were nice and clean when I went in there”
“Wonderful service! Super efficient, trustworthy and even gave me a ride to work after dropping my car off!!”
“A great little mini supermarket - staff are really friendly and they have a great range of items/brands”
“Incredibly lovely staff, they so helpful and attentive. A small but well stocked shop, very pleasant.”
“Excellent quality of food- always, great range, friendly service anytime of the Night 'n' Day”
“This store has a really nice layout and stays reasonably well stocked. Our favorite thing about it, though, is it's fairly quiet and peaceful. A large discount store down the road attracts the big crowds, leaving this one surprisingly empty. It's always pleasant to walk in here and not be mushed in with throngs of people in the vegetable section as other stores funnel everyone in there. In Countdown you can start shopping in whatever isle you want. Refreshing!”
“I really enjoyed going into this Woolworths, I'm from a small city so it's always interesting to go to the bigger supermarkets. The variety of meat and produce that you have faster passes anything the smaller cities get”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Always a great experience at The Warehouse! A big shout-out to the amazing team — the staff are always friendly, approachable, and willing to go the extra mile to help. Whether I’m asking questions, looking for something specific, or just browsing, I always feel supported and welcome. Thank you for the consistently great service and for making each visit a positive one. It really shows when a team cares about their customers — and you do!”
“Great to see that the collectibles are being shared around! Bought a great dinner : olives, gherkins, feta, edam slices, carrots, ravioli, and ginger kisses for desert. Easy nutritious and delicious (sans kisses) 'Number free' options were a bit tricky to find but we found our healthy choices eventually.”
“Absolutely awesome shop always love shopping there as friendly staff, always got items I need and prices are kept down.”
“Its a lovely clean friendly store, had everything I needed”
“The Manager Please pass on my thanks to Petra for her assistance and help with setting up my Roborock. Her product knowledge was excellent and I was able to get what was a frustrating experience for me to get into the 31st century. Kind regards Jim Anderson”
“It was so pleasant worker's were very helpful directing where to pick my shopping up wonderful experience.”
“As a visitor from NSW, Australia, I can't believe Woolworths has a pharmacy inside it! And it sells alcohol inside as well! (not a separate store like in Australia). Also saw sausages being sold in a plastic bag! Then my credit card bill still says Countdown instead of Woolworths, which was their old name! New Zealand is truly an interesting place.”
“Absolutely outstanding service from Lisa, the checkout manager at Fresh Choice Roslyn, Dunedin. We asked if it was possible to organise a fruit gift basket — something most places would have simply said no to — but Lisa immediately sprang into action. With a can-do attitude and genuine customer care, she made it happen on the spot. We were so impressed by her initiative and professionalism. A real credit to the store. Thank you, Lisa!”
At Cobb at the Railway Station, the menu stays classic fish-and-chips, served with an easygoing pace. Sides support without crowding the star. Pricing lines up with the offer. Portions are generous yet well judged.
