For the past 5 days I have gone into bunnings everyday to try and find what I wanted to purchase. Its available as per your website. Click and collect was unavailable for this item. Each time I have spoken to someone different who has given me a different response as to why there is no stock available. I spent 3/4 of an hour waiting for a staff member today to come and help. He was young rude and obnoxious, and most unhelpful. I thought I may have had 5 heads the way he was staring at me like I was the problem. Today's service is also very reflective of other times I have wanted to purchase other items. Will I go back. Probably not. Bunnings, please note your staff need some education around products and service. They show a very poor performance when dealing with them. The only good thing about the place was that the garden gnomes were at least smiling went you walked past

Always hang up on me after transfer or never answer the phone. Apparently the first guy canβt ever tell you what stock they hold. Never anyone to help instore When I do get help (after having to drive for 40 Mins just to find out if they have stock myself) they just send me Off down irrelevant rows. Slow checkout, never enough people On Place is run by young people who dont seem interested in doing their jobs/ dont look like they have any experience with the products. I hope they can find their way, as if it was run properly it would take a lot more of mitre 10s business. As it is, its hard to put up with and I would almost rather pay more just to avoid this place

I visited this store on 03/DEC/2025 around 11:57 am. The cashierβs behavior was unacceptable. He looked not happy to help scan my items and physically leaned back as if avoiding me. He didn't ask if I wanted a receipt, yet I clearly heard him ask the customer behind me. In fact, he was immediately helpful and polite to the customer behind me, helping them scanning items. The double standard was obvious and felt discriminatory. I went back to ask for the receipt and have already used the QR code on receipt to file a formal complaint. Hopefully, management takes this seriously.

It is a hardware store. Often hard to find someone to ask for advice however today it was reasonably quick and good advice. I don't understand their checkout system, they often only have one person on and there are usually lines.

Was it there today had couple hundred dollars of stuff. Got to one of the two checkouts that were open . Only for checkout person to put chain up and walk away. The self service ones were closed. Lots of customers wanting checkout. Left items there. Sorry Dunedin unless you pull your act together and look after yours customers I will not be back.

During the day, good place with helpful staff. At night though, was hard getting a staff member to help me out , despite 3 of them standing around talking. Have been dealing with Bunnings for a long time and this was the worst service I've ever had here.

My favourite shop when coming to Dunedin..spent over two hours first visit next visit about the same..lots of different products. Did get large pot plant pots cheap as..and lots if other goodies too.

Prices are always competitive and consistent. Staff are helpful and friendly and help you find what you are looking for if you are lost. Great place to shop.
