“I stayed for a few days on holiday the owner hospitality was great she offered help to dry my clothes without any extra cost while my granddaughter and i could go to Christchurch for the day every thing in the unit immaculate and anything we wanted know they would be so helpful i recommend this lodge Motel to anyone or groups who want to stay in Rangiora also it's very close to the town and picture theatre 15min walk awesome.”

“Well spoken and polite customer service, and amazingly fast from point of order to being ready. I love that there is an electronic alarm type system that announces your order is ready if you're outside the store. Food is cooked to perfection, and I highly recommend the burgers.”

“Second time visiting this place and am glad the first time wasn't a fluke. Service was great, food was amazing and the indoor outdoor flow was great. We had 4 dishes - Crumbed Beef Schnitzel, lamb shank, fish and chips and the vegetarian dumplings. Generous portions for all dishes. Standouts in each meal served. From the light crispy batter on the melt in your mouth fish and chips, to the beautifully slow cooked lamb shank, to the mushroom sauce on the nicely cooked Schnitzel. The sauce for the dumplings was a lovely sesame that really complimented them. The chips served with the fish and Schnitzel were top notch as well. You could tell the oil they were fried in was fresh. Can't wait to take another venture to the Diamond Harbour Eatery and Bar.”

“Had the Original Vegetarian pizza - so yummy and delicious. Crispy base with delicious fresh tasty tomatoes, mushrooms, onions and capsicum. The Spags Chips were moreish. Crispy, crunchy with enough potatoe-niss to satisfy your hot chips cravings. And a nice cold cider. They had a good beer and wine selection on offer too. Service was prompt and polite.”

“Amazing fish and chips! I was a bit worried when I saw the low rating but this place is great :) super crispy chips and a great jam donut. The basic fish was yummy as well. Paid $11 for a half scoop, fish and a jam donut which was plenty for my husband and I for early dinner/afternoon tea :)”
