    Love coming by and getting my weekly fish and chips as they are always great, but Wednesday night the gentleman at the till was far more interested in scrolling on his phone than serving people. Good customer service goes a long way and the girls that work there have always been onto it.

    We weren't impressed. The scoop of chips was small and tasted a bit stale. On calling to order, my partner asked if the spring roll was vegetarian, to which she was ensured they were. The spring roll had what mince in it, so not vegetarian. I'd recommend going to the Chinese Takeaway next door.

    Ordered 5 Fish, 3 GF Hotdogs, and 3 scoops of chips for $51.40. Fish were scrummy. GF hotdogs were lovely. Chips could have been cooked more - too may soggy chips and not enough crunchy chips.

    Been in Lincoln for 3 years and accepted there high prices as the food was good but the portion sizes are just taking the piss now. This is supposed to be a full scoop of chips. A scoop at most chip shops will be enough for 3 or 4 people but this is just pitiful for how much they charge.

    Even smaller portion compared to the usual small portion. Soon you will need to order 4 scoops of chips to equal a normal scoop. Place has definitely taken a step or two downwards. Oil also needed a change. Wont come back.

    A diamond in the rough , in the craft of fish and chip shop . Friendly service, good selection, and quality. Proper Fish and chippy. Prices are reasonable and you get what ya pay for .

    One of the better fish and chip shops in Lincoln, however slightly more expensive and smaller scoops etc, overall it’s pretty good though.

    Used to love the fish and chips here. Quality and quantity was good. And I had stopped buying from the Lincoln Chinese takeaway. But of lately both the quality and quantity has gone drastically down. At first I thought it would be just for that one day. But tried multiple times and remained the same.. 1/2 scoop of Chinese takeaway is equal to 1 scoop from here. Very disappointed now. I used to recommend this place over the Chinese takeaway, but not anymore. Two stars because it used to be good. PS. Will try sometime later and updated if it gets better.
