   My friend and I visited Denny's using a First Table booking. While the service was attentive (both the male and female staff were fine) and our drinks were good, the experience was severely let down by the quality of the food. First Impressions & Decor: * The restaurant decor appears to be the exact same as it was when I last visited just after the Christchurch earthquakes in 2011. It is seriously dated and feels like it hasn't been refreshed in over a decade. Food Disappointment Highlights: * Lamb Curry: The curry I ordered was highly disappointing. The lamb was chewy, and the sauce was excessively salty—even for someone who enjoys well-seasoned food. * Ignored Dietary Request: I specifically requested no onion in my salad due to an aversion, and the salad arrived with bits of onion mixed in. If I had an anaphylactic allergy, this oversight could have caused a serious medical event. This is a critical error in the kitchen. * Vegetable Surcharge: The lack of included sides is frustrating. Meals seem to come with minimal (or no) vegetables, and you must pay extra if you want vegetable sides with your meal. (I had the curry, rice, and salad.) Conclusion: The meals were, frankly, terrible. We were very disappointed with the food quality, the disregard for a simple request, and the very dated surroundings. We will not be returning to this Denny's location.

   The service was ok, food came out quickly and nothing on our order was wrong. The food was mediocre at best. The surf & Turf steak was still cold in the middle and the prawns like rubber, thankfully someone else at my table ordered a T bone that comes with a hot plate so I was able to somewhat heat it up. Probably wouldn't eat here again

   Old school American diner in chirstchurch NZ. Love the rustic feels it gives. Food was decent but took sometime to be served though there wasn't much of a crowd. The ambience and vibe this eatery gave was unique, even had old school arcade machines one would have played before in the 90s. The place also show cased the history of denny diner. Loved the dessert it offers too.

   Denny’s offers a great deal when booking through First Table, making it excellent value for money, though the full price can feel a little on the high side. The restaurant is well-located with easy access and plenty of parking available, which makes it very convenient. The menu is extensive with a wide range of options to suit different tastes, ensuring there’s something for everyone.

   I would love to check it later！I love Denny's! That's the important memory from my school time in the US. The staff there were nice, even though they were not able to receive you at first time since they were busy in the morning and not that many colleagues were working yet. But you know, that's the Denny's culture and atmosphere here—you can feel free, but will not be ignored. Needs to improve: Juice is not good premade so just like sugar water, not recommended.

   I have always loved Denny’s. Tonight they had warning signs that they might be a bit slow due to illness causing lack of staff but in fact it was really good. We were served by the lovely Luatimu. She took our order quickly and accurately, refilled my coffee and checked that everything was ok. All with a lovely smile. We loved our food. Thank you Denny’s. ❤️

   In a nice area with plenty of parking. The usual Denny's experience where the food is okay, portions are super generous and their dessert is absolutely delicious! Service was really fast and the staff there were all lovely. Definitely a good place to go for a casual meal where you know you'll get the same experience always.

   This American fast food is new to me, though it has been operating for a long, long time. Can't get this restaurant in my home country, Malaysia. I was surprised by the variety of food found here, and they were good. The meals we ordered were balanced with meat, vegetables and salad. Quite a big helping, price wise, it's worth the money. We had the bbq pork ribs, beef lasagne, and grilled chicken with lemon and herbs. Service was fast and we didn't wait long for our food.
