Decide to sit in-house and eat the best chips ever. Great burgers and fish. A large bottle of sauce is given for your use because the owner loves watching his cooking eaten fresh.

Deeply disappointed. Orange roughy $10 per fish and soggy batter and chips. Don’t recommend.

Not impressed , The β€œscoop” of chips was less than half the 400g brown bag they use as a scoop size indicator in their display window near the till . They were tasty but there was just not enough! I called to complain and was told β€œI just work here”

Tried chicken, crumbed fish, half scoop. Chicken was very basic, tasted old, some of the worst fried chicken I've ever had. Crumbed fish had thin crispy oily batter and too much of it for how small the fish was. The raw fish in the cabinet looks dry, and they serve orange roughy which is one of the least sustainable species caught in NZ. The chips were oily, soggy, and the portion was very small for the price. The place is poorly ventilated, feels like you're breathing oil fumes in there. Wouldn't go back. Expensive and bad.

$32 for 2 small pieces of fish which smaller than normal people’s hand and β€œmussels” means more than one mussels not only one mussel. The fish tastes frozen fish, very hard and chewy battered shell makes the experience even worse. Mussels taste not fresh and so easy to break a part. Normally fresh mussels have the chewy texture but this one tastes like long time cooked mussels and being cooked again battered.

I got a scoop of chips and they were nice, a bit salty. But the problem was they were more expensive than most other shops and half the size! It was half a scoop at any other shop.

Wow disappointing to say the least $34 one scoop Two fish Sausage Hot dog Two cans of coke Fish was thick but smelt really bad Sausage piddly over cooked thing As you can see i placed lighter for size comparison The gravey in my other meal of chips and gravey was a congealed mess not edible And the tomato sauce was placed in small plastic takeaway container no ingredients list no manufacturer date or expiration date as per law required Will be reporting those things I understand uber takes 30% But you need to stop attacking customers for their honest reviews You lose customers when you attack our reviews as its our opinion not yours Time for you to look at what your doing wrong Stop making excuses for your bad attitude and service

Good chips, perhaps a bit salty on this occasion. Fish isn’t bad either. Both fish and hotdogs seem to use a corn based batter which gives them a yellow appearance similar to when you buy hot dogs from food trucks at the speedway. Nice burgers too. It is a bit pricier than most which I’m not sure is justified (maybe the rent is expensive). We spent about 20% more here than our regular β€œMaster Seafood” down the road which was closed today.
