“December 2024 stayed for 1 night. The room was lovely the bed very comfy ..bathroom exceptional to the little details of the mirror and heater handrails. For the low price I wasn't sure what to expect but would definately stay again. I asked for a toaster and nothing was too much trouble for the owners of this hotel. The only down side travelling with elderly couple was no lift but other then that I'd definitely be back.”

“We had a very pleasant stay at Sudima Christchurch Airport Hotel and stayed in the Premium King Room. We were checked in by the friendly Wade, and we would like to thank him for his professionalism and warm hospitality. His calm composure while managing multiple big group of check ins at once was truly impressive and worth mentioning. Our hotel room was clean and comfortable, and we really appreciated the pillow menu, which gave us a great night sleep. The location is also extremely convenient, it was just minutes from Christchurch Airport and within walking distance to Woolworths and several nearby food places. The free parking for hotel guests was another big plus. We also had dinner at Acheron at level 1, and were served by the welcoming Alan. We overheard he’s still a student, but we were genuinely impressed by his friendliness and service. Overall, a very pleasant and enjoyable stay. Would happily return!”

“Riverside is just awesome and Carrie and Andrew clearly love cats! Our cat Steve stayed for just under a month and he could not have been in better hands!! Steve is a very anxious cat and had never been to a Cattery before but these amazing humans had him relaxed and at ease in no time! The units are lovely, clean and we'll looked after. I absolutely 100% recommend Riverside Cattery. I cannot thank them enough!!!!”

“For anyone looking for a special treat then I highly recommend going to a Long Table Lunch. The service and the ambience is exceptional and you can just feel the history oozing out from inside and outside of the lodge. Chef Jimmy is an absolute whiz in the kitchen and it was a true honour to sample several of his masterpieces. I'd also like to praise the exceptional efforts the lovely Lucy took to make me and my octogenarian mother feel at home. She was a true star and we really appreciated her assistance during our meal and garden tour. It was a gorgeous excursion and an experience we will warmly cherish forever. “The hostess was very accommodating and friendly. The rooms were clean and decorated well. The whole farm setting complete with alpacas and horses was fantastic. Convenient location close to the airport too. I highly recommend staying here.”

“Where do I start to recommend this kennel. This is the best of the best - simply because the owner and her trusted staff truly KNOW animals. They are passionate, observant, and they are so committed to taking the best care of the pets entrusted into their care using a skill-set you rarely find. They also uncover all their personality traits, which proves how much notice they do take. I had two of my dogs in there this week and Robyn had noticed a touch of aggression from my Jack to my Kelpie, which I had noticed at the same time of day only once before. She was right on to it, and separated them without worrying me. But, she did tell me when I picked them up and I immediately remembered I'd noticed it too once myself, but I thought perhaps it was a one-off thing. So, now I'm going to be watching that narky little Jack closer at home. I can't stress how much trust we put in the people who care for our pets. Make sure you choose wisely, and if you're asking me, I'd say Dentese every day of the week. Thank you.”

“We are so glad we’ve found Eyrewell Kennels! It was the first time we’ve had our 6 month old puppy Taika stay in a kennel. From the moment of initial contact they put our mind at ease with what to expect and once arriving you could see immediately what a great facility it is. Huge outdoor grass areas with separate section’s for different dogs and very clean indoor kennels with air conditioning. Taika loved his stay and will happily be booking future use at Eyrewell. My boys always looked so happy on the videos of the day and with each return visit they charged into reception with unbridled enthusiasm. “I drive my cats out here from North New Brighton because the gardens & landscaping they have built around the cattery is beautiful, and it makes me feel good because it's like a little cat resort. Their comms are great, friendly people, and the hygiene standard is top-notch, as is their professionalism. Highly recommend.”

“I can not recommend Cheryl high enough, we had our 3 babies with her over Christmas just been (2023) for a week. Due to no fault of her own (our vet being lazy) our 11 month old kitten fell very ill, Cheryl went above and beyond and did everything she could for our precious peach. If you want to take your cats to someone who cares, you can’t get any better than Cheryl at 4 paws”

We had been struggling to secure a cattery over Easter and Deborah let us know when she had a cancellation and was able to take our pet on short notice. She was also great about extending his planned stay and was clear on communication feeding information and pick up/drop off. Will definitely use in the future”

“Peter and Tessa are exceptional moteliers, they go out of their way to accommodate the needs of their guests. They were prompt and reliable with airport pick-ups and were also very obliging with dropping us off at a family event. The motel rooms were large, light and airy, and very well equipped. We appreciated the space of the one bedroom unit. The gardens are immaculate and very colourful. We’ll be back!”
