   This is such a gorgeous place to stay and a charming escape so close to our beautiful city. The views themselves are worth the trip alone along with the absolute gorgeous wines and the fabulous food at the restaurant. The rooms are beautifully decorated and so spacious and you can really appreciate the sound of nature as you sit on the deck with a glass of wine. You can even soak outside in the tubs and see the stars on a clear night. We really loved the attention to detail and the charm of our hosts who went all out to create a truly memorable experience for us. We'll definitely be planning a return in the near future.

   The chef is exceptional! I had lunch on Friday, and the vegan options were exceptional from the starters to all the way to desserts. Unlike many places that strive to subtract ingredients to make a dish vegan, the chef left no stone unturned to match the intended flavour profile of each dish adding complexity and nuanced flavour that is so often missing in vegan fine dining. Fantastic service, too. It is truly a world-class vegan dining experience!

   If I could give 10 stars I would! This was one of the best nights away! Everything was perfection from the service on arrival, the room, the surroundings, all the well thought out extras in the room to the detailed information booklet, but the highlight has to be soaking at dusk in the double baths with a glass of the vineyards wine. I highly recommend staying here and make sure you book in at the vineyard restaurant - the food and service is simply next level. Am booking in for next year and am already counting down the days.

   I travel around a lot for work and fun but this was one of the top 3 best places I’ve stayed in the world. My partner and I flew in from America and this was our first stop and it’s exactly the place we needed after traveling! The location cannot be beat— quiet, calm, outside the city but still close, and gorgeous vineyard. I spent a lot of time sitting on the patio overlooking the vineyard and spent a few hours hiking behind. Service was great, everything was extremely clean and it had everything we needed! Cannot recommend this highly enough!

   Absolutely beautiful little retreat, the rooms are the perfect size for a couples getaway, the views are incredible and the best part was the hot tub at night with the stars and one of the best wines we have tasted. We feel refreshed and renewed. Lots of extra details that made this place such a gem, from Bluetooth connectivity throughout the room to the luxury bathroom and of course the super comfy bed. Well done to all who make this place so special, couldn’t have asked for a more perfect way to start our NZ holiday. Thank you :)

   My partner and I stayed for 5 nights while we visited Christchurch. The location was close enough to the city centre to be a short drive, whilst staying out of the hustle and bustle. The views over the hills and vineyard was just beautiful and so peaceful. The mattress was lovely and soft. Plenty of seats to sit and enjoy the view. The chalet was very stylish, clean and warm. Communication was great and checkin after hours was easy. I strongly recommend staying here, no doubt this is where we will stay next time we visit Christchurch. It’s just a shame we didn’t have time to visit the vineyard which looked just beautiful.

   Beautiful wee retreat! You feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere but its actually only a 10 minute drive to town. The fitout and decor was lovely and you can tell they’ve invested in quality pieces which makes the stay more comfortable. The outdoor baths were so relaxing (although took about 40 minutes to fill), and the bottle of wine was a lovely touch. We loved watching and listening to all of the beautiful birds in the area. We wish we could’ve stayed longer!

   What a majestic place with an amazing outlook of Vines & Cashmere Hills. We had the most fantastic time, enjoyed an amazing wee late lunch at The Tussock Hill Restaurant then back to our oasis for a wee bubbles before bathing in our secluded outdoor baths. I would also like to say the superking bed was to die for. If you ever feel like a quick get away, its just mins away from the City, up Huntsbury Hill. Thank you so much.. Aroha nui A & S

   We loved our stay in the Kererū retreat. The retreat had amazing views which can be soaked up in the outdoor baths, a relaxing and inviting space, and the Tussock Hill staff are happy to help with any request. We also enjoyed lunch at Tussock Hill Winery which was a highlight of our stay - the food was incredible.
