   Due to having to find accommodation urgently, we booked this place as most of Chch was booked out, for concert. Absolutely filthy, unhygienic and not safe due to exposed wiring. We never touched a thing except the bed. Sheets were clean. Doesn't even deserve 1 star but it won't let you review if you don't. Not sure how it's passed any policies, especially health and safety. Owner/Manager appered to be not on site and office closed the whole time!

   Felt like we had gone back in time very dated, bed was comfortable and was clean. Shower was terrible could hardly wash the shampoo out of my hair. Hot water cylinder rusty. There was something wrong with the power as our phones took ages to charge. No one at reception, no milk for tea and coffee.

   Won't be staying here again. The only good thing about it was the bed was comfortable and the location was good for what we stayed for. But....there are definitely more negatives than positives to this place....the shower was a constant drip. There was no tea towel for drying dishes and no curtain for the kitchen window. Reception was always closed. Lawns and gardens just weren't tended to. It advertised it had sky tv but was only freeview. No milk in fridge. It was just a poor unloved property that is crying out for some TLC.

   Absolutely shocking. Reception unattended. Lawns and gardens overgrown and unkept. Room smelt foul and was damp and mouldy and dirty. Freezer had a bag of peas frozen into the ice. Electrical point hanging from the wall and covered in filth. Toilet was mouldy. Car wreck on site. DO NOT STAY HERE! You deserve much better!!

   I don’t enjoy sharing negative feedback about small businesses, but I believe it’s important to share this experience. You couldn't pay me to stay here again. The inside had a terrible smell, with strong toilet odors and stale cigarette smoke. There was a noticeable buildup of dirt along the skirting boards, especially behind the beds and furniture. The toilet seat needs replacing as it is peeling and stained, and the entire unit is in desperate need of a deep clean. The shower had very low water pressure, and some light bulbs were burnt out. On a positive note, the bed was comfortable, and the bed linen felt fresh, which I appreciated. The location also suited me.

   Horrible place, used for emergency housing, fight happened outside with current tenants. Room has had users smoke inside, carpets were stained and place was over all not cleaned before we checked in only beds were made. Tv didn’t work and power kept cutting in and out. Room couldn’t securely lock. Would 100% not recommend anyone to stay here!!!

   Very over priced. On a positive note conveniently located for Christchurch arena however room was very dated and dirty. As soon as we walked in the musty smell was strong and the room had not been cleaned. There were multiple large cobwebs all in the bathroom, grime on the sink, stains all on the carpet, everything had thick dust etc. Was advertised as 2 tvs but there was only one in lounge, no sky TV as advertised, and room with very limited equipment. Had we arrived earlier with enough time would of left and stayed elsewhere.

   Very run down. not equipped with the basic kitchen thing's. 1 wine glass, not enough plates. until was for 5 people. It was average on cleanliness.

   Bins were not emptied.bathroom curtains had toothpaste stains. Shower had 2 drains 1 x drain was blocked. Only 1 dinner plate for a room sleeping 3. Room Carpet was stained not been washed in a while. No wifi signal in the unit we were in but being advertised as free. Face cloths and towels were discolored, suppose to be white was more on the beige side. Bed was comfy. Won't be going back to this lodge

   The room was very tired, dated and needed a good renovation done on it. Fresh clean linen was a plus. The lock on the door was dodgy-as and made me nervous, especially with the stickers shouting to keep windows and doors closed and locked at all times. There was no soap, no shower gel, no shampoos/conditioner.. all bottles were there but empty. The outside premises and grounds were untidy with dumped broken furniture, long grass and tired buildings. The garden along the front driveway was lovely though, so first impressions were good. I think the entire place needs a good spruce up and lot more effort made. I won't be staying again.. no way!!
