   We had the king one bedroom suite which was fabulous. Comfortable furnishings, full size fridge, 2 TVs. Walk to restaurants and shops. Friendly staff.

   Beautifully appointed small hotel, limited parking. Very warm welcome. Breakfast is continental but looks substantial. Tea and coffee choices cover all options. Fresh fruit all day and round off the evening with a port. Short walk into town. You can hop on a tram on the street.

   This is a great value of beautiful boutique hospitality. The hotel is located within a short walk of the cbd centre. Accommodation was very well appointed and well competent serviced. The meal plan was excellent and the management team were very friendly and attentive. Thank you for your nice hospitality service. Highly recommended to everyone Well worth a stay

   Our travel agent booked The Classic Villa for our 3 night stay in Christchurch. We loved our time here. Karen (manager) worked hard to make sure that we had everything we needed (access to early breakfast since our day trips left very early, recommendation for excellent dinner restaurant - Fiddlesticks that was just 2 blocks away, information regarding the beautiful botanical gardens just 2 blocks away etc). It was sparkling clean, the breakfast was everything we needed/wanted and the extra spaces were very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the complimentary glass of port. Thank you Karen for making our stay extra special!!!

   We stayed for two night, arriving after a very long flights. The rooms are very nice and quiet. The location is excellent, minutes of walk from most of Christchurch attractions. The breaxfast was good and hosts, Jackie and Steve, are the best. Hopefully we will be able to come back some day.

   A wonderful hotel with very friendly and welcoming staff we had a delightful room (1) with all mod cons clean tidy quiet and comfortable nice breakfast and simply perfect location with all the shops bars and restaurants just a few minutes walk away the perfect location for exploring Christchurch... Both owners a delight and nothing was too much trouble full of intersting local knowledge and info we will both be back soon as we enjoyed our stay that much ....

   Elegant/stately (and warm) home converted to B&B. Modern baths, classic architecture. The couple hosting guests are also warm and have set up a relaxing and beautiful set of common rooms and a wonderful kitchen/dining area for breakfast. The Classic Villa is located a short walk from an amazing art gallery and several restaurants. Definitely a must-stay if you're coming to (or passing through) Christchurch.

   Wonderful, beautifully restored old building. Very central location right opposite the city tram stop and a very short walk to museum and Botanical Gardens. Rooms well appointed and impeccably clean. Great continental brekky provided as part of the room tariff. Service was outstanding. Cannot fault and will return.
