“The team here support the local LEGO group, if you're after LEGO, look no further. On multiple occasions I have contacted them to express interest in yet to be released sets. They have taken down my contact details, set the item aside when stock came in, then called me back to let me know it's ready. Kudos to whatever system to they're using to keep track of these requests, as sometimes the products haven't reached NZ until months after my initial contact. To top it all off they even ensure you get your desired minifig in the blind bags. The prices can be a little higher than the likes of Kmart or The Warehouse, but it's worth it.”

“Customer service was good - the sales lady was attentive and listened to my problem about the last two pairs of shoes I'd purchased for a destructive three year old boy with a tendency to ruin the front toe cap of his shoes within a day. She sold me a pair of Clarks shoes that were on sale. I'm happy that these shoes are still intact after four days and looking in great condition. Would definitely shop here again as this store has a better range of shoes for toddlers/pre-schoolers than other stores.”

“Nikita at Pet Central Hornby provides a fantastic dog grooming service. She takes such great care of our border collie and always checks in with us about what we want and any concerns we have. You can tell Nikita really cares and our girl always looks amazing after a groom. Highly recommend.”

We also had experience of getting fresh beef and ham from the store, which tasted amazingly good. Offering us the choice of seating in the tastefully decorated modern clean restaurant with breathtaking local artwork. Sean our waiter took our order he was verry attentive and friendly bringing our order it was beautifully presented, and the food was delivered hot . The meal was delicious, succulent meat fresh seasoned vegetables and all with gravy . Sean repeatedly checking on our needs. Wonderfully delicious food, friendly staff and warm inviting space. This year one gift went missing, and they have been extremely helpful and wonderful and have sent another basket to our family to replace the basket.
