“I love the fact that it's cramped inside, there is so much to choose from and the staff are really friendly. If you are a regular too you can get discounts if you join their club :D totally worth it if you visit often. Make sure to explore the place thoroughly, there are so many hidden things it's easy to miss some great finds.”

“Tucked away down a side street, this place is a hidden gem - we were lucky to spot it. Fab array of gourmet retail goodies, and delicious deli treats. Ordered a (delicious) hot chocolate and cappuccino - and the custard donut was to die for! Highly recommend if you’re in the area.”

“My favorite shop I like it better than Napier Woolworths Supermarket will be back cause you have got a good selection of GF products that Napier Pak n save doesn't have and I will be buying most of my GF stuff from Carlyle Street Woolworths Napier from now on. “This one worker her name was Jade, I always see her there and she is the best worker I've ever seen. She once helped me out of a locked changing room, helped a little kid after they tripped, got something for this old lady off a tall shelf, hyped up this girl in some shoes she wanted to buy, and even helped this guy pick out a nice scarf for his wife. Once I accidentally was short five dollars and she payed the rest. This girl is amazing and deserves so much more than she is paid. Praise this woman she is beautiful on the inside aswell as the outside.”

“Amazing service here. Needed a replacement dishwasher and the team were able to recommend options that would fit in the same space, and get the right one for my budget. They also came and removed the old one and replaced it with the new one! I won't go anywhere else for appliances again, these guys are a 10/10 for customer service.”

The manager went above and beyond – offering the kind of genuine, old-fashioned service that’s so rare these days. It was such a refreshing change! “This place is amazing. Beautiful cuts of meat. They will easily personalise your order. We bought 2 lovely rolled lamb roast and they cut them both in half and vac sealed all four for us. They then seperated our sausages in packs of 4. All with a smile. This is like our 5th visit and we li e 1.5 hours away. Well worth a visit you will not be disappointed. Mauri ora Downey team.”
