Jennifer in the bakery/deli was absolutely amazing!!!! She was very positive, patient, helpful, kind, with all around exceptional customer service. Especially during the busy holiday season!! Cillian at checkout was extremely friendly and kind. He wished us a great holiday season and had such a positive attitude! Five star service thank you!!!!!!!
My wife and I just visited this supermarket and the experience is great. On top of that, an Lady named Alice assisted us a lot. I would like to appreciate her passion and assistance right here. New World management team, you have a great employee.
Me and my friends had such an amazing experience on the 10th of October. We asked a kind lady called Hayley on the till if anything more of a product out pack and she had a great attitude and brightened up our day after she had helped us. Her attitude was amazing and had such great customer service. (She needs a raise). Such an amazing worker and from this we will be returning to new world Durham street.
Lovely and helpful staff. I dropped some cans and they instantly came for help and offered to get me a new pack instead. Marvelous, kind, considerate and human. Love the staff in this store. They're doing an amazing job.
Myself and another lady have come into New World today and both got a Salad from the salad bar. I would like to say that the choices are amazing and super delicious and Lynn that was working in there is there making sure nothing is running low and presentation was fantastic - to you Lynn you do a wonderful job and you are appreciated :-)
Large store, many vegan products - some in sections designated “Plant based”. Bulk food section and refillery station. Self-serve checkout and pleasant cashiers. Café inside (One 7 Five) has some vegan items, including a breakfast wrap and treats.
New World Morehouse really is an awesome little grocery shop. Very friendly and helpful staff and for the size of the store has a fantastic range. They maybe a little more expensive than pak n save but are a better store by far. That’s my opinion anyway. Just have to add a little bit about NW Durham. I’ve just done my weekly shop, which isn’t a lot to be honest, but they have new staff and the new checkout lady I got was bloody shocking. She couldn’t give a dam about the products I had bought, she just threw them in the bag without a care in the world. Even the younger fresh faced teenagers are better than this woman, she is absolutely shocking. If I get her next time I’ll be making my thoughts heard and this woman will hopefully be either put out the back or sacked.
Oh yum, looks like pigs have been in this trough. A beautiful store as in fixtures and fittings, but the merchandising and cleanliness definitely let it down. Hopefully teething troubles.
A great new modern store for the city. Looks clean & fresh. Amazing range of produce. The deli counter has everything you need. And they have a cafe which does a decent cup of coffee.
