   A while ago I came here while I was on a family holiday. Rude customer service. As I was paying for my items at self checkout two staff girls were watching me like I was going to steal and as I walked out after paying I gave a nice smile. As I headed on my way out I looked back at the two girls and they were rolling their eyes at me and then they had noticed I had seen that and then the girls quickly looked away. Another time I had walked in with my family and we got treated rudely again, I am disgusted for the way me and my family have been treated here! As I have always been a New world shopper for many years and have nothing but kindness and respect from the new world where I am from. Do better

   The NW Halswell is one of the worst when it comes to fresh produce. The broccoli was turning to flower and still being sold at over $2/head. The Grower would not be impressed to think after all the effort to grow it that it will probably end up as compost.

   The product selection is decent and the store is well organised. However, some staff members were unprofessional and not very helpful during my visit. This stood out compared to other New World chain store nearby, where the service is usually much more attentive and staff there are more willing to help. Hopefully, staff training is placed to improve overall customer experience.

   Open shop feels fresh and clean. Good choice of items. Unfortunately we had a horrible woman on the tills, the packer was lovely and kind, but sadly this didn't make up for the servers obnoxious attitude and how she kept throwing the items not giving a damn if things broke or not. I expect better service at a New World especially when we pay a premium for the products. I did complain to the manager but doubt it is going to make a difference. It makes me reluctant to go to this New World again.

   Got a dozen frozen bluff oysters. Cost..$37.99. Thawed out ,battered and fried. They were off and inedible. If yr going to freeze oysters...fine. Freeze them when they're fresh. Not when they're out of date.

   I went to your store with my family, including my mother-in-law, husband, and daughter, to purchase some groceries, including eggs. However, we were highly disappointed with the checkout process. When we tried to purchase three cartons of eggs, the checkout clerk only allowed us to buy one carton. I found this very perplexing as I had carefully read your egg buying guidelines, which clearly state that one customer is allowed to buy one carton of eggs. Since we were four people trying to buy three cartons of eggs, I thought this would not be a problem. However, the cashier informed us that your machine only allows one carton of eggs at a time. I understand that machines can have limitations, but your purchase instructions clearly state one carton per person, not one carton per bill. As a customer, I find it highly inconvenient to be restricted to buying only one carton of eggs, even though there were four of us. This has left me feeling highly dissatisfied with the shopping experience at your store. I hope that you can take steps to rectify this issue, either by updating your guidelines or improving the functionality of your checkout machines to better serve your customers. I look forward to your prompt response and resolution to this issue.
