   I went to the shop today to look for some shoes for my toddler. We arrived just as the shop had closed and the lady reopened the shop for us. She measured my daughter for size and showed me a selection of shoes that would fit. I was a bit unsure what shoes to get and said I would come back with my husband. The lady working was not annoyed at all by my indecision. She gave my friends daughter a sticker for being well behaved. Thank you to her for reopening the shop and her patience. I will be back!

   Have visited 4x in the past 18 months, and each time staff tell me there is no stock due to covid and they havent been able to get any stock - funny how other stores seem to get stock. Very unfriendly and bothered that my girls weren't touching shoes in a kids shoe shop. No recommendations to look elsewhere for good quality shoes, just "no one else sells good quality shoes". Try Skechers or Keen Shops in Christchurch, and buy your bobux or Clark's online. 4 trips wasted, won't be back.

   Customer service was good - the sales lady was attentive and listened to my problem about the last two pairs of shoes I'd purchased for a destructive three year old boy with a tendency to ruin the front toe cap of his shoes within a day. She sold me a pair of Clarks shoes that were on sale. I'm happy that these shoes are still intact after four days and looking in great condition. Would definitely shop here again as this store has a better range of shoes for toddlers/pre-schoolers than other stores.

   Friendly attentive staff, good recommendation on shoe style but I'm a little worried about the size they recommend. We've just moved to Christchurch from Wellington, our wellington shop told us to get size 22 when we get our baby winter shoes. The wellington shop had open feet sample shoes to let kids try on to get the best sizes so the size they measure must be precise. Whereas here they use a size chart that reads size 5 that then convert to bobux size 21. It's hard sole and leather boots so it's hard to push down near the toes to feel where they are. We will find out in a little while if the size they recommend is correct. The customer service is above standard. -------------------------------------------------------- The size ended up to be perfect and we are onto our second pair here already! Again, wonderful staff and knowledge, it's a great feeling to have someone you know you can trust, thank you instep. My highest recommendation :)
