    Disappointed with the Caesar salad bowl. The dressing does not have a lid any more. The lid came off the salad bowl today and the dressing with no lid, ran over other items in my shopping bag. When trying to clean up these items it was on the inside of the bag at the top and smeared over my navy linen shirt leaving a greasy hard to remove stain. All for the sake of the cost of a container with a small plastic lid as it was before

    Great layout of the supermarket love the on the go food set up with hot pies sandwiches sweets ready meals well set up has a pineapple machine in the fruit area espresso coffee at front of supermarket

    The worst experience when my cash got stuck in the self checkout and the machine froze. For 15 minutes, had two staff come to try fix it and not one even said hi or “sorry, we’ll get this fixed” or explain what they could offer as a solution. The third staff member managed to reset the machine but then spoke SO incredibly rudely to her colleague asking what he should do next I was actually shocked. It’s not hard to teach your staff basic customer service or how to greet/apologise to a customer, literally mute silence. I totally get machines have issues so that’s not the problem but the three staff I dealt with were all super rude!

    Imagine this.. Its 5pm, its dark, pouring with rain, traffic is crazy and you have a curious 4 year old with you who has asked 5432 questions since you picked him up. You need to go to the supermarket and your 4 year old insists on getting the kids trolley. Exacerbated, sore and tired you agree and whip him through the supermarket as fast as you can which is a battle as he wants to buy everything. You get to the self checkout & scan your goods though only to suddenly realise you have forgotten a bag and trying to keep your 4 year old in check you scan the area for bags but see nothing. You start to load the goods back into the miniature trolley and a sour faced staff member comes by and says 'you'll have to load that into another trolley, you cant take that one outside'. I look a bit shocked and I'm looking at the trollies which are over in the entry, I have half of my groceries on the checkout and half in the mini trolley and a 4 year old. The lady is just starting at me, no offer of a bag, no offer to get a trolley, nothing... I say 'I am literally just outside the door in the parents park, can I not just whip out (in the rain) and bring it back in?' and she just turns her back, swinging her nose in the and says 'NOPE'. I was shocked, I said that is ridiculous, loaded my groceries into the mini trolley. Walked teh trolley and my 4 year old to the main entrance, reloaded the groceries into the trolley, walked 10 steps outside, reloaded them into the boot, walked the trolley back and finally we could leave. Talk about mean spirited, rude and unhelpful. Sounds fun huh! Unbelievable service!

    It's so embarrassing that the people working at the self-checkout counters have very bad attitudes towards the customers. Whenever I go to the store and buy something at the self-checkout counter the staff treats me like we are going to do theft. Every time, the employee at the self-checkout counter, especially the old man (I would not say gentleman because he is not), stands behind me, stares at every item I purchase on the machine, and leaves only after I completed the payment. This is so embarrassing. I can feel that all the staff at the check-out counter are highly racist. I accept that I am an immigrant. But, that does not mean that New World, Lincoln should treat us badly. I have my own dignity. This is the worst experience I had in NZ about racial discrimination. New World, Lincoln need to learn from other countries.

Load.sof brilliant local products and extensive international and wine and beer selection!

    Great range and clean and fresh. Really good alcohol section with craft beer options .I really appreciate the effort to be green with a big range of recycling options and even power generation in the car park.
