“Oji Sushi is always a great choice! They’ve got a solid selection of sushi and other Japanese dishes. The location is pretty conventional, but it’s reliable and convenient. I used to go there every week for lunch when I worked at the wharf, and it was always a satisfying meal. Definitely recommend it if you’re in the area!”

“I don’t see reason in those 1 star reviews. I’m a regular and I absolutely love this place. They have a great selection of food. All are well seasoned. The food is a 4 star because I guess there were a few times where the spring rolls were a bit over fried. Nevertheless, it is by consistently of a good quality. The staff are so friendly. They wear a big smile on their face. When I get takeaways, they offer to wrap up my box for me without hesitation. Go and try this place!”

She also checked with us later if we liked the food and got overall feedback from us. I would recommend for best burgers, wraps and crunchy chicken. “After 11+ years living overseas I've returned back to NZ and one of the first things I wanted to do was order a butterchicken + rice + naan combo. It brought me back to my childhood memories. It was creamy, rich, and well portioned. The flavours were how I remembered it. in times of inflation, companies and restaurants tend to reformulate their ingredients to cut cost, but Shamiana Albany has been consistent -reminded why I still love their food all these many years.”

“I tried many Indian eateries here in Auckland and found the pure real Indian authentic taste. Their papdi chaat and pav bhaji was really good, as expected. Overall value for money with great service and cleanliness. Special thanks to the owner, sort the tables out for us for dine-in! This will be our go-to place.”

“Fantastic service from the gig with the awesome moustache. After totally exhausting long-haul flights from Vietnam back to NZ, I bought a foot long veggie subway. The veggie food on the plane was dire! So I was really looking forward to this sandwich. Unfortunately half way through I dropped half on the floor. The staff member gave me a replacement half - what a fantastic gesture. All the people around me also thought that this was a great gesture. This team member made my day.”

“Of all the kfcs in nz, I'd say this outlet has the seemingly friendliest staff. All checking up on me to see if I'm alright or need help ordering. I see an all smiles multicultural team working behind the counter. My food arrived fast (Thursday night, 8pm). Seating area is tidy and clean. Keep it up guys!”

“Honestly everyone reviewing here needs to visit literally any other subway in Auckland to understand that what we have on the coast is essentially the gold standard. Every time I have visited this subway it has been top notch. The staff is friendly, fast and every sub I have purchased here looks like the photo off the board. Subway isn't the cheapest fast food option out there so I expect to get what I pay for. I can honestly say that you get more than what you pay for here. Please keep up the great work team and thank you for setting the standard for everyone else.”
