We got bad food poisoning from their chicken kebab on stick. Sick for 2 weeks, yuck. Will never eat here again.
I found the bamboo stick 3 centimetres inside the bowl undon noodles takeaway. Fortunately I didn't swollen it.
Food: by far the worst sushi I've ever had in Auckland. Totally overpriced for the quality and quantity. Think again especially if you are after nigiri (refer to the photo, super thin salmon and ugly shaped rice) or their order-to-cook meal. Price: totally overpriced for the quality. I think their 30 percent off discount at the end of the day is right price. Service: it's located at the foodcourt. not expecting a restaurant level of service so okay It's shame that they don't have other competitor (sushi restaurant) in the mall. It's not worth a trip to have a pack of sushi here. I hope they will improve in the near future.
Flame who served us at Smart Sushi was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond for us to help us get the sushi we needed and was so kind and helpful to me and my kids. Thank you for such amazing service Flame.
Incredibly overpriced. Asked for a sushi to be swapped out from cucumber to avocado and said I was happy to pay extra but yet they refused to make it. This was at 10:30 in the morning when they had no customers. $14.50 for an eight piece sushi with no avocado in itis outrageously priced.
Chicken avocado sushi was not fresh - tasted stale. The pink ginger had seeped all through one of the rolls so it obviously was over a day old. Not impressed.
They don't have wasabi in their sushi packs anymore. Very disappointed especially I have takeaway salmon rolls and found this out at home. Understand the cost but wasabi is standard supply when having sushi.
Quick and easy, everything goes well with wasabi. The disposable chopsticks and paper trays harm the experience but that's to be expected from a food court meal.
Do not buy the $17.90 Prawn and vege tempura which consists of 1 battered onion ring, 1 battered pumpkin, 1 battered prawn and bowl of noodles. So disappointing
Ordered the salmon teriyaki donburi for $17 and received the beef teriyaki donburi ($15.50). It was delicious so could not complain. It was prepared quickly and the server was friendly. I’ll probably go back to try the salmon. I hope I get it next time.
