Glad I ignored the terrible reviews of this place. Restaurant was clean and smelled like freshly baked bread, the service was fabulous and inviting. Could not fault the food either - one of the best subways I have been to in NZ!
Only doing one star because no stars isn’t an option. The rudest staff member I have come across in my 40 plus years on the planet. We go in for lunch, first she tells me I can’t have Caesar salad which they were promoting, as an option, that’s fine, so I go for a small tuna salad instead. She proceeds to offer me a vegetarian version, clearly there is a BIG language barrier. Then to be told there is no small size, so I ask for regular size only to be charged for a large (close to double) $16.50, app says $9.50 for a small, when we queried this, my partner got yelled at, wow, have never been yelled at as a customer before. Beware people, this level of disrespect is unacceptable, Will NOT be going back there ever.
Honestly everyone reviewing here needs to visit literally any other subway in Auckland to understand that what we have on the coast is essentially the gold standard. Every time I have visited this subway it has been top notch. The staff is friendly, fast and every sub I have purchased here looks like the photo off the board. Subway isn't the cheapest fast food option out there so I expect to get what I pay for. I can honestly say that you get more than what you pay for here. Please keep up the great work team and thank you for setting the standard for everyone else.
As i odered at subway at 637 whangaparaoa road, whangaparaoa, auckland . I just saw what i received There is no proper salad stuffing. 1. There is no onion, no spinach and no pickles in my order in subway and barely 4 slice tomatos and 4 slice cucumber 2. When i call there regarding to my order one the staff member pick my call her name was NEHA .she denied to accept her mistake and she told me that she followed all proper process to made my ordered which is not correct because what i paid for everything but i didn't received correct food. 3.Staff member's behavior is not good as specially NEHA and her service is really worst everytime and she is not adding proper vegetables all the time and trying to cut it down in order. 4- When I asked her for refund or another order she said NO straight away very rudely which is not right.
Worst Subway in Auckland. No toilet for customers, no where to wash our hands and awful ,rude service. Food was average.
This is the least amount of content I have had in my Sandwich at any Subway store ever. I have been to a few of them over time. I'm not aware of any food shortage, so it must be some other reason.
ordered 2 cheesey garlic subs and they were unedible. way too much garlic sauce and barely any cheese. obviously the young lad hadn't been shown how to make them
Just been to subway Whanga, Say (Sandwich artist) was a legend! There was a huge queue of customers and she was the only one working there. Making three sandwiches at one time and small talk! Definitely deserves some recognition! Thanks, Say!
Ordered a salad bowl for my daughter. Was a complete disaster. Asked for a few extra olives and was told that they usually put in 6 cut pieces (the small cut olive circles) and couldn't add more! The photo is what I got. The Asian lady was extremely rude. I will not return to this Subway
