    What an awesome place! Such a vibe! Awesome tunes playing, pool table and heaps of sports playing. We had the pleasure of having Olivia, Chelsea and Whitney look after our table. Service was quick when we needed drinks and the girls took great care (and time) taking our dinner orders. The meals were decently sized and packed full of flavour. Definitely wasn't going home hungry after my lamb shank! The potato was next level good. Buttery and full of flavour. The ribs were delicious and packed with flavour too. We shared the cheesecake of the day and that was freakn devine and unlike most places they actually gave you a decent serve. All in all we love our first visit and can't wait to visit again, next time we are back in auckland. The 3 girls are a real asset to your business and I hope they get told about the great job they are doing.

    *Updated 4/8/25: Not good. Fish and chips were good however my partners Seafood Chowder was basically a soup and very salty, so even as a soup was inedible. Shame because The Hanger used to be awesome. *Updated 11/11/23: Turned up same time on a Saturday and was offered a "Late night menu" instead of the regular menu which was basically bar snacks for no reason. Very odd that they couldn't accommodate a full house assuming there was a private function of sorts. Good Sports Bar & Restaurant, where the food is always yummy and staff friendly.

    Great place to hang out with friends and family. this place is also a family licensed bar, great friendly staff. They also cater to every occasion, Have your next get together at The Hanger, watch live sports at the bar. they have lots of seating space both inside, outside and upstairs. They also have lots of parking available and off street parking.

    We went to The Hangar for dinner to celebrate my wife's birthday. One of my kids has lots of allergies, which I advised at booking time. I was pleasantly surprised when the waitress, when greeting us said she already checked with the kitchen and suggested the plates were safe. The food was delicious, the service quick and the ambience super relaxed. Definitely recommended.

    The Hangar was a great venue to host our engagement party! Only required a small deposit and minimum spend for the night. The team let us have early access for decorations and roughly 60 guests attended with great space. Upstairs was perfect to hold a private party and the service was amazing, shout out to our bar tender Channy and duty manager Laura :)

    Stopped in before heading over to Trusts arena to watch netball. Liked the place, layout was good, lots of space & tables. plenty of screens above the bar with sports on, It was busy but not overly so. But! only 1 person at the bar, 1 clearing tables & delivering food orders & 1 doing coffees & also clearing tables. From a customer service point of view, waiting 20 mins for 1 cocktail while 2 staff clear tables (including the one in charge), not ideal. I felt for the 1 staff member serving at the bar. We wanted food but decided not to bother after waiting so long already. I'll give it another try next time we are in the area.

    ive been going here for 10 yrs, its pretty good. my go-to is the stonegrill steaks which are good and immersive - sometimes there is some gristle though. the sides and sauces are divine! the last time i went, i had sirloin cooked for me, the inside was cooked perfectly medium but the crust tasted kinda bitter. overall, still delicious and amazing service for the functions over the past yrs
