“Connie and I came for two nights and accidentally stayed for the vibes. Somehow won a ridiculous amount of Jack Daniel’s merch (pretty sure we’re sponsored now), met absolute legends of locals, and were made to feel welcome from minute one. Food was genuinely great. Drinks flowed. The banter, however… truly terrible. World-class hospitality, bottom-tier jokes, and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. Left with full stomachs, new friends, and more Jack Daniel’s branding than anyone should admit to. Would 100% return.”

The interior fit out was modern and yet very calming and serene for a late-night dinner. Customer service process was efficient and tables and seating were very clean. Parking was easy to find. The restaurant combines delicious food, affordability, quick service, generous portions, and cleanliness — a true hidden gem in Auckland. That’s why I want to recommend it! Also, whenever I see negative reviews about Eden, I feel puzzled, because my dine-in experiences have always been met with efficient and professional front-of-house service. I’ve even witnessed staff making fresh dumplings by hand, as well as the busy kitchen in action. Despite the rush of many customers, I still receive greetings, attention, smiles, and, of course, amazing food. I’m grateful to Eden for giving me such a wonderful experience, and I truly hope people can show more understanding and be less critical. Here’s to another day of recommending Eden!”

“Pita House is the OG Kebab joint nestled amongst Onehunga's commercial district. The family owned and operated business is authentic to the word, not only will they serve you the best kebab you've ever eaten, you can also stock up on all you middle eastern groceries and their inhouse Pita breads which are often still warm in the bag from coming off the conveyor belt. I Love this place, love the people & will always travel near or far if the temples screaming for a delicious meal.”

“I've been there a few times a couple years ago until The Light Horse closed down. This used to be The Light Horse. Good location from my place. Food is still good. But How sad it is that they don't open on weekend. I hope they open on weekend. Will be back with friends.”

“This is a fantastic spot! I love the decor and the food. I ordered the rump steak, which was delicious. My partner enjoyed the vegetarian pasta, and my dad and mum both loved their dishes: the eye fillet melted in his mouth, and the crumbed chicken was delicious too. Service was excellent also. “YUM YUM YUM!!! We do love our fried chicken and were excited to see a new place opening up so close to home. We tried them for the first time last night and were left very happy! I got the chicken salad which was so good. That dressing! Yum. I'll go back just for that! I also got the classic burger coz, lets face it, the salad wasn't going to cut it on its own haha. Both were delicious. My husband had some spicy wings and the spicy burger and was completely satisfied. The staff are super friendly. They'll know me by name soon enough :) Good quality and tasty food. A nice addition to our neighbourhood.”

“This authentic Chinese food restaurant on Dominion Road may not have the most inviting look and feel, but the food speaks for itself. My fiancée and I decided to try it out before heading to Eden Park to watch an All Blacks game. We ordered Taro Balls, Dry Noodles with Peanut Sauce (large size), and Dumplings with Spicy Sauce (medium size). The portions were generous and perfect for two people, and the prices were quite reasonable. The Taro Balls, in particular, were exceptionally well-fried and delicious – highly recommended! The peanut sauce noodles were also tasty, with ample portions that we thoroughly enjoyed. The dumplings, while similar to those at other Chinese restaurants, were still quite good. Overall, this restaurant provided us with a satisfying dinner. Highly recommended for anyone who loves Chinese food.”

“I’ve been to this one for a few times and it’s been my go to pizza place for the last five years. The food has always been amazing and they maintain a very high standard. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I couldn’t recommend this place more!!! My personal favorite is the pepperoni, they use very fresh ingredients and the pizza base is cooked to perfection every single time! Highly recommend to all!!!”

“Well done to Takanini St Pierres. We usually come here once a week to buy sushi and chicken on rice and some crab nuggets. The staff is always friendly, always making my food fresh and always put cutlery and napkins in our bag. Our cards get stamped promptly and numerous times ive walked in on them cleaning their floors spotless and their toilet is the cleanest ive seen. Theres never dirty containers on the tables and they also care for the people sitting outside of the shop sometimes. If I could give you guys 100 more stars I would. Unfortunately, I learned the yucky way today by going to Karaka St Pierres as I thought I'm closer coming off the motorway. I will never make that mistake again.”

“Really tasty! I always order the Nasi Goreng, and it’s consistently full of flavor. The smoky aroma from the wok gives it that authentic Asian taste I love. There were only 2 or 3 times when the flavor was a bit off — maybe due to a different chef — but overall, it’s one of my go-to dishes here. Highly recommend!”
