I came here with high expectations, but the experience was a big disappointment. The taste and the food are not authentic at all — the flavors are flat, and the seasoning feels completely off. It doesn’t resemble the real cuisine in any way. Sadly, it falls far short of what you would expect from something genuine

Haven’t been here in many years but used to love this place! Big portions and great flavours as always.

Dumplings were bland but much better with chilli oil, probably meant to be eaten that way! Was given options of steamed or pan fried Some skewer options too, could be an option if you don't need the typical bbq shop atmosphere~

This authentic Chinese food restaurant on Dominion Road may not have the most inviting look and feel, but the food speaks for itself. My fiancée and I decided to try it out before heading to Eden Park to watch an All Blacks game. We ordered Taro Balls, Dry Noodles with Peanut Sauce (large size), and Dumplings with Spicy Sauce (medium size). The portions were generous and perfect for two people, and the prices were quite reasonable. The Taro Balls, in particular, were exceptionally well-fried and delicious – highly recommended! The peanut sauce noodles were also tasty, with ample portions that we thoroughly enjoyed. The dumplings, while similar to those at other Chinese restaurants, were still quite good. Overall, this restaurant provided us with a satisfying dinner. Highly recommended for anyone who loves Chinese food.

Located on Dominion Road across the road from Countdown and close to Eden Park, so good option before a game. Lots of options on the menu, which is in Chinese and English. Good value for money and the portions are generous. Taste wise, the flavours are ok, nothing fancy but will full you up.

Monies worth noodles. $5 and the kids loved it. The kidney has lots of pieces but a bit too sour for my liking. Veges were nice. I ate most of it in one go. Service: 4/5 Food Quality: 3/5 Food Quantity: 4/5 Presentation: 3/5 Price per person: $10-$20

We came to this place serveral times for lunch and dinner. It was a small restaurant but pleasant. Service was friendly. The food was tasty and with a reasonable serving for the price. If you are keen on noodles, try this place. You will not be disappointed.

Came by before dinner to have their Oyster pie. There were quite a few interesting items on the menu too so we grabbed a few more to share, including the Fujian fishballs and the brown sugar mantou. Would probably have grabbed more if we weren't having dinner an hour later. The oyster pie was quite big and really crispy. It was full of veggies and had one small oyster inside. I found the filling to be a bit too sour for my liking. The Fujian fishballs were delicious. The fishballs were stuffed with mince and the soup was really tasty. It also came with vermicelli as a bonus. I also quite like the brown sugar mantou. It was a lot bigger than I was expecting and also a lot less sweet. It was nice and fluffy and really nice when it was still quite warm. Although they sell "snacks", they also have proper dishes on the menu. The place is quite big and the service was friendly.
