“My sister and I decided to try Fu Lin Kitchen on a whim, we arrived 30 minutes before closing time but the lovely woman let us order what we wanted and the food arrived promptly. I had the beef brisket on rice and cucumber salad, while my sisters had sweet and sour chicken on rice and lemon chicken on rice. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals, including my two year old who shared my beef brisket on rice with me. Cooked to perfection. Would definitely come back here again.”

“Authentic food, excellent decor, and great service. Sunny Town makes their dumplings fresh and in the open where you can observe. They also have an open kitchen. The food is delicious, with the perfect mix of spices. Definitely order the steamed dumpling, pork or vegetables as both are yummy. The spicy dumplings are not for everyone, but our daughter loved them. We loved the bamboo interior with comfortable seats. The service is prompt and friendly.”

It's an eat and go type place, you godforsaken the food rather than the atmosphere. Would recommend for those who love Lebanese.”

“I popped in this morning while waiting for my car to be serviced down the road - staff uber-fine with me buying a coffee and setting up my laptop for a couple hours to get some study done - the blackboard menu won me over for a toastie as well - 5/5 so far as toasties go. Overall just a nice semi-rural down-to-earth welcoming vibe and I now have a cafe to visit whenever I'm in Waimauku with time to stop by.”

She greeted and welcome us as we came in, explained the menu quite well and had a lovely chat while waiting for our order. It looked like she was working alone that day handling the customer service, the cooking, clearing tables and phone... Good management and prioritising skills...She's a good representation of your company. I hope she gets a well deserved reward and recognition...She works soo hard!!!!”

“Does anyone remember Eagle Boys or Pizza Haven? From the 90s? This place reminds me of that style pizza. Pan base with crispy crust. I see some 1 stars. However, I didn't have that experience. The touch screen was easy to use, and I had a 10-15 min wait. It was a busy Wednesday night. - Meat lovers 8.8/10 $21.99 Large Crust had great crisp, under the topping was a thin layer of bbq sauce, which I like as opposed to a pizza that's doused in sauce. Meatball pieces are the best topping. I wish more of it was on the pizza. Blame price - Cheese pizza 7.5/10 $9.99 Small Same base as the meat lovers, nice cheese used, and nice grill bubbles on cheese.”

Even my daughters butter chicken which im usually not a fan of at all, had so much depth and more flavor than ive ever had in a butter chicken. Max, sir you are a gentleman and I appreciate you taking the time to talk about your flavors as well and for having such a friendly and inviting attitude. “This is one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve been to in the North Shore and probably Auckland. The foods flavour was really good. My friends got a variety of dishes; and all tasted perfect. The meals were very reasonable priced, the portion sizes were large. During the meal, the kind lady (owner I’m guessing) asked us multiple times if we needed more rice or extras. There was a few other people coming in and out, as they were picking up their takeaway meals, which proves it’s popular with the locals. I have seen some of the other reviews and this place is deserving of them all. I definitely would eat here again!”

“Double Happy gives you great value for money. The food is delicious, and always cooked fresh. The place is simple but very clean. If you’re dining in, cutlery, condiments and free tea are self-service. My favourite dish from here is the Stir Fried Pork Belly with Cabbage (extra spicy), highly recommend.”
