Food here is fantastic and well priced god portions do yourself a favor and branch out the real currys (not butter chicken) are absolutely amazing
I am shook I got this butter chicken it was so sweet like a dessert I am so upset had to drive 10 mins down the road to get me a butter chicken from my local Indian place and throw this in the bin it’s so watery like soup this is disgusting and the chicken is hard overcooked
This is one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve been to in the North Shore and probably Auckland. The foods flavour was really good. My friends got a variety of dishes; and all tasted perfect. The meals were very reasonable priced, the portion sizes were large. During the meal, the kind lady (owner I’m guessing) asked us multiple times if we needed more rice or extras. There was a few other people coming in and out, as they were picking up their takeaway meals, which proves it’s popular with the locals. I have seen some of the other reviews and this place is deserving of them all. I definitely would eat here again!
No need to run as Covid is a problem, qr codes are no longer needed, no need to have pick up table by the door... Great food, great prices and if eating in good service. If I was ordering and saw the covid way of doing distance ordering and pick up, I would go elsewhere...
This aint no butter chicken its chicken with butter, ordered a medium and cant even tell if they put spice in it. Thought I would be able to distract myself and eat this until my jaw clamped down on a massive bone almost breaking my teeth.butter chicken tasted like pumpkin soup don't go here if you want quality indian quisine.
I bought a dessert called gulab jamun and it was delicious, perfect texture and moistened with caramel. It is the first time I try it and it was the best decision. The man who sold it to me was very friendly and clearly knows about real Indian food. I highly recommend buying in this place!
Great food! We come every week and it's the same outstanding quality and taste every time. Great vegetarian options and competitive prices too
Humble but cosy restaurant, their lunch special comes with rice, naan and your choice of curry. Ordered a takeaway and it came in plastic boxes. Will remember to bring my own lunchbox in future. Curry was delicious and very filling for $10! Only thing missing was some veggies which I added when I got back home.
