Geez, terrible food. Chips are disgusting, cooked in old oil, hard and tasteless. Steak and cheese pie..like a chuck steak casserole from the 70's no flavour at all. Had to wait ages for the pie and ask twice. Had to wait ages for our coffee. Dont waste your money.

I popped in this morning while waiting for my car to be serviced down the road - staff uber-fine with me buying a coffee and setting up my laptop for a couple hours to get some study done - the blackboard menu won me over for a toastie as well - 5/5 so far as toasties go. Overall just a nice semi-rural down-to-earth welcoming vibe and I now have a cafe to visit whenever I'm in Waimauku with time to stop by.

Stopped by to grab something quick from the shelves. It wasn’t busy at all and plenty of staff onsite. Took them 15 mins from order to pack a frittata that was just sitting there. It looked like they were using the same baking paper to toast everything and my frittata seemed like it had the sauce from the beef enchilada they were toasting before.

Full Moon Café and Eatery – A Must-Visit in West Auckland Nestled just off the main road, Full Moon Café and Eatery is a fantastic little spot that punches well above its weight. The coffee is top-notch, made with care and precision, while the bakery selection is simply outstanding—especially the custard squares, which are to die for! The food is both delicious and reasonably priced, making it a great option whether you're after a quick bite or a leisurely meal. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed break or a casual catch-up. What truly sets this café apart, though, is the exceptionally friendly staff who add to the charm and make you feel right at home. If you're in West Auckland and craving great coffee, fantastic food, and friendly service, Full Moon Café and Eatery is absolutely worth a visit!

I got the lasanga, which was heated in a bowl with splattered cheese everywhere. It was greasy and not nice at all. I've had it before and it came with a side salad and relish, which is what I was expecting. Left disappointed. Wasn't worth the money.

Very clean and bright and the coffee is amazing! Maybe I’ve been spoiled by the cafes in Auckland, but the food wasn’t as great as I was hoping. I had the French toast and the breakfast roll, both were decent. Service was slow but it seemed like maybe they were training new people so that’s probably not normal.

Ordered two big breakfasts and the quality was far from acceptable. The ingredients tasted cheap, undercooked and almost inedible. Ate less than half and was only given one meal refunded. Order was also incorrect. I was given eye rolls on my way out too. Safe to say will not be dining here again

Super friendly service, nice, clean and tidy modern interior with good coffee for various dietary requirements, yummy teas and the most amazing ever gluten free muffins. Their pies and filos etc are amazing. Breakfast choices, lunch. Amazing.

Great food and amazing service. Nothing too much trouble. We came in half and hour before closing and were still happy to see us. The shepards pie was outstanding and the cesar salad was perfect. Almost all was homemade and the pies were rich and decent size. I know I am going on but the coffee was beautiful and rich too. Gotta try this place peeps.
