The food was very nice, and the portions were big. I bought a whole fried snapper fish, and it was delicious. The restaurant was very busy, but the customer service was nice and fast. It was a bit too noisy, and people were popping wine caps anywhere, which could hit someone. Overall, it’s a nice place.
Lovely portions of food. Service busy but managed to get food out at a reasonable time. Money for value and doesn't cost you the earth. Tasty delicious and well presented. Well done staff and chefs.
One of the few halal thai food in Auckland. Although most thai restaurant carry halal certificates for chicken, lamb and beef, but since they are also serve pork, then need to be careful. Manee Thai's thai offering were tasty and had a welcoming atmosphere. The snapper was delicious as well as the tom yam soup.
Food was good but Service level was down. I went up to Bill payment counter twice to place my order then no one was clearing our table, have to go up to waiters and request them to clean. Forgot to bring our beer. Couple of waiters were good but couple of them were walking like as if they were forced to work there , no smile on face at all
Decent customer service by staff, however felt rushed to eat our food quickly as possible to leave for next diners since we walked in to restaurant without booking. Taste of snapper dish, pineapple fried rice, lamb sizzling hot plate was good, however not impressed with the portion size of the hot plate as there was more onions than meat.
We came here for lunch. Booked a table for 6 just the night before. Our first time here and the experience was great. Warm welcome by front of house, our table was next to a fire place so very apt for the cold outside. A very friendly waitress took and delivered our orders. These are the only two staff members we in front. We ordered 6 mains and 1 entreé. The whole snappers sweet sour was perfect, duck was good too, we ordered spicy dish, 2 chicken dishes and a seafood one. Entreé was tempura prawns also crispy large prawns.
Delicious food, nice ambiance. Good price. Good portion. No halal logo, but their website said everything is halal. Service could be quicker, the rice come so late. Last time we dine in, cooking time is so long, more than 1 hours until we got the food.
We are ten people and we had been waiting for the main over 1 hour long. We are very disappointed by the service. Here are some photos while we were given the empty plates while waiting for so long. We arrived at around after 7 and the main foods were not ready until 8.30. And finally at 8.40 we had our first main food.
