   It was my first time trying the Pepperoni and Manhattan pizzas at Sal's Pizza Takapuna, and I was impressed! The base was thin and crispy—just the way I like it—and the flavors were amazing. Their potatoe chips were delicious too! The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend Sal's Pizza Takapuna! You made my movie night super easy and completely fuss-free.    It's been some time since I last ordered Sal's, the only thing I noticed was the toppings have decreased substantially to the point where I would consider the 50 dollar cost to be significantly overvalued. Slices with 1-2 bits of meat on them. Can't say I'd ever order again at this point. Very unfortunate.

   This branch isn't as good as the others. The base of the pizza was quite thick compared to what you normally get. We made a largeish phone order (5 pizzas and 15 garlic knots) and the wait time was 50 minutes. Apart from the base, the flavours were similar to the other ones although the sausage was cut the long way around. The knots were soft and tasty but not as garlicky.
