She took our ideas and theme and executed them better than we had ever imagined! She was extremely accommodating and help us design an extravagant event within our budget. Would love to work with Natalie again, on future Auckland Council events. Thank you Nat, for all your help in delivering a successful event!”

“Really tasty food, well balanced flavours. Love the ratio of meat, rice and salad. My partner doesn't eat salad so I happily had his share. So glad they had a pop up at Smales Farm but wished they could stay longer. The spaghetti and chicken was tasty too! Highly recommend the adobo, lechon and inasal.”

They were extremely busy, which reflects their ratings clearly. Had their signature pizza, which was great and a pasta dish I forget the name of. Both were great. “Nice little place ran by a very very friendly and polite couple. Had the tom yum soup with prawn. Price is quite cheap. Overheard the gentleman at the counter telling a customer not to rush to pick-up her takeaway order when she asked to collect during their closing time (8pm). He said they will wait for her (aww).”

“Hands down our favourite local takeaways. The quality of food is brilliant (burgers are my favourite) and the staff are lovely. They are really busy on Fridays at peak times (because it’s so good) but staff are always super friendly and helpful. We make sure to order around 5pm on a Friday for shorter wait times. We’d prefer to enjoy dinner from an owner-operator place like PL rather than a chain restaurant any day!”

The hall is perfect for kids parties, adult parties, weddings, fitness classes, church groups, social groups, sports groups, corporate functions, staff training, business planning, rehearsals, small community groups and lots more. Maximum of 50 people. Very affordable and easy. Theres a kitchen and table and chairs. The hall is a great space for the community to use.”

“My go-to place for lunch specially when I am busy at work and in need of a quick bite, but not willing to compromise on the taste. Their food is affordable, yet still tastes good. Do you want a grab and go? Choose from their selection of pre-packed meals (I strongly recommend the salmon on rice), or if you have time to wait a teeny bit of time, you can go for a selection of hot cooked to order food from the menu. Plus their staff are friendly too!”

“One of the best restaurants in Auckland for Mediterranean cuisine. Made fresh, the meat dishes actually taste fresh. Don’t expect some fancy interior or fine dine but defenitely some of the best tasting meal you can have. It’s best to go as a group as the serving portions are very generous. Also the best naan (bread) is done here. Been there twice (lunch and dinner) and will surely revisit again”

“I'm giving Portofino 5 stars all around as we absolutely loved the food, service, and atmosphere during our holiday in New Zealand. It was so good that we visited them again before we left...twice in one week for dinner! I definitely recommend dining at Portofino. All of the food we ordered were great from the Lasagna Al Forno, Fettuccine Di Pollon, Vegetarian Fettuccine Vegetarian, Cannelloni Casanostra. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They even offered and opened the window and had fresh air while enjoying our meals. We forgot to take pictures of our food the first time we dined in...that's how great it was! “WOW, my 3rd visit to this establishment for celebrating birthdays and today a MOTHERS DAY high tea experience! This was outstanding, the wait staff really looked after our table despite the cheek I gave them all. The place settings and tea selection was first class, then came the delicious high tea style food plus hot savouries absolutely amazing and super delicious we managed to eat everything presented! After our feasting we all went for a stroll around the beautiful property, fantastic a wonderful place for wedding photo shoot! Oh and the venue of course. Thank you for the most enjoyable trouble free MOTHERS DAY celebration! No dishes or cleaning up required! “I have been to Yellow Mirchi few times. Friendly team here always welcomed us with a smile and delicious food. My kids love Butter Chicken with Cheese Nan. My favorite is Chicken Biriyani with yogurt Raita. Its simply delicious, you will never find this taste anywhere else. Must try. Paneer and Veg curries yum too. Relaxing decor, amazing service, visit and see/experience it yourself.”

“Food was delicious! Super busy but food and coffee quality was great. Service was superb due to the busyness on a Saturday lunch the staff still kept the front house tidy and clearing time was outstanding. I sat and watched the team as they did their thing! Great team work!! Atmosphere is busy but love a busy cafe when your mind is a bit too loud and you want to drown your thoughts hehe. Loved the atmosphere and so does my little one when she made friends in the play area.”
