   Unfortunately,I went to this restaurant with my wife, mother-in-law, and daughter on Valentine’s Night, and I had a terrible experience. English: After 55 minutes, our food arrived, but it was extremely cold and inedible. Even the carrots, which were supposed to be cooked vegetables as a side dish, were completely raw. It was clear that for such a night with so many reservations, this restaurant and its management were too small to handle it. Additionally, in one of our dishes, which was a pizza, we found a hair. No matter how many times we told the waiter, he kept insisting that it wasn’t from them. I have no way of knowing whether the hair in the pizza came from me or from the restaurant. I’m disappointed with the management of this branch because other branches of this restaurant are nothing like this. I have visited most of their locations, even in Taupo.

   This used to the favourite go to when we were dating in the 90s. It has been a delight to come back today with our loved ones and surprised to meet everything still tasty and hearty like how we always remembered.

   1 star because we were basically kicked out from this restaurant. Food is great, Portofino is our go-to Italian but this place has very poor service. This particular franchise in Parnell constantly reminded us that they were closing down, and staff can leave when we do, even grabbing my brothers plate even tho he's still eating. We didnt overstay. Arrived at 2015, food came at about 2045, forced to leave at 2120. It makes me think why such poor service, is it because we are people of color?

   An old favourite. All the hearty, honest food of a proper family run restaurant, with a cosy atmosphere that makes you feel like you belong. Food is great, atmosphere is comfortable, and I've never left without feeling slightly guilty about just how much I've managed to eat

   It was a wonderful experience to work here. The staff taught me a lot, with smile and kindness. The food is amazing too : carbonara, fettucine, margarita, gnocchis... Everything I tasted was delicious. The benches are confortable, the atmosphere is great as well... I recommend this place +++

   We got takeaway pizza so I can't speak to service but I feel this allows me to be very honest about the food itself. The garlic bread was somehow dry, chewy, and greasy. It had pretty much nothing going for it: a veritable flavour desert. The prosciutto pizza was really salty and the others weren't that great. The bases were really stodgy, the crust was somehow the best part. Considering the price it was quite disappointing and I wouldn't want to eat here again. Also the cannelloni sauce tasted like canned spaghetti, or maybe canned tomato soup. Reading the other reviews, that are rather polerised, I would definitely trust those at the lower end of the spectrum. I'm just super glad I didn't eat in. I have added just one photo. Tell me that doesn't look like a countdown pizza base with some roughly minced garlic on it.
