I was not expecting such excellent coffee. It was great. The Vanilla Butter Caramel slice was absolutely divine. Highly recommended!
Great bakery with a lot of options. Friendly staff and quick service. Hands down one of the best mince and cheese pies in NZ and at a great price! So fresh and a fair share of cheese.
Stopped in for a bite & was not disappointed. The carrot cake was divine with that cream cheese topping & the walnuts inside. To die for. The steak and cheese pie was full of tender steak indulged in that cheese sauce with a gorgeous gravy 10/10 Also the spinach and feta quiche was generous in serving with the top covered in feta so salty but delicious. The eggs were creamy & fully cooked to perfection. I will be back for the jalapeño pie & biscoff cheesecake thank you for delivering a taste I will miss!
Always a fab old school kiwi bakery. The service is great and very positive cheerful staff. From a sausage roll and donut to a custard square and chicken/ avocado sandwich... you can't go wrong. Good old value for money.
Visiting this store for the first time, I was super impressed with the size, taste, and filling of the steak pie. Definitely at the top of my mind next time I'm passing through and looking for a bite.

Honestly this is the best bakery. Lovely and friendly staff, great delicious food with lots of options. The pies are amazing! You can't beat them, we love the steak and cheese and the bacon and egg. The sweets are just as amazing too. Cream filled donuts, Lamington, an assortment of slices and cookies, we've almost gone through all of them. If you haven't been here yet you are missing out.
It's probably my current go-to bakery in the Kumeu area for a great lunchtime pie. It's hard to go wrong with a wide selection of great pies. Pies are flakey and hold together nicely. Filling is great and a fantastic balance of meat = cheese. If I could only recommend 2 pies to you, I'd say the mince and cheese and the butter chicken should not go untried! Sausage rolls are always great as well, a tad small but a great flavour and pastry. I have had bad experiences with other Mr Bon locations around the country, but I'm so glad that this bakery truly surprised me. Staff are really friendly and seem to love what they're doing. Prices are different than what they charging. When I questioned it , she said ohhh yea it's gone up. Well then you need to change your pricing on the menu lady.
