“Absolutely love the food here! I always get the quesadillas and eat it all up every time. The service was also great, the staff were attentive and fast. The interior is nice and clean, just in the day there are a lot of wasps inside especially in the sunny areas near the windows.”

“Last night, after dinner was done, we went on a wild goose chase to find the holy grail of coffee and dessert spots - and boy, did we hit the mother lode with this place! The coffee was off the charts and the apple crumble was so divine it should have its own fan club - the chef is a culinary rock god! We also fell head over heels for the staff's super friendly vibes, especially Pranav, who's probably the nicest human on the planet. We ended up coming back for breakfast today and it was totally worth it - we can't recommend this place enough and we're already counting down the days until our next visit!”

“If you haven't been to this cafe, then you're missing something very good in Beachhaven. I think it has new ownership and they deserve to survive. The coffee is great. It's Altura my husband's favourite. Lots of people were coming and going, which is good to see. The food could have been at any five-star establishment.”

“This is how a sports bar should be. Clean, and well-presented with no drama. It's part of the community and several local groups hold meeting there. There are raffles and a fishing club. Even free bread from the local bakery on occasion. The beer is very well priced and although the menu is none existent you can bring in food from other establishments.”

Propa decent bit of food and portions are massive especially the hake and chips I think. If your just passing through I honestly recommend coming here for few beers and food.”

“**Great food, relaxing vibe, and excellent service** We stopped by Florrie McGreal's Irish Pub in Takapuna and had a great experience. We ordered the buffalo wings (next time we'll go for the hot ones—these were mild but still tasty), shoestring fries, the pulled pork burger, and the beef brisket burger. Everything was fresh and satisfying, especially the burgers which were full of flavour. Special shoutout to Nelli for her fantastic service—she was attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome. We sat outside, which was perfect for a chill afternoon, watching the world go by. Definitely a spot we’d come back to for a relaxed meal and good vibes.”

“Top notch customer service with very friendly team. We were served by Sophia who answered our queries about the menu and also was kind enough to take our photo. Its always a delight to come to Elephant Wrestler especially for big groups. They have plenty of space and kid-friendly atmosphere during lunch time. There’s a variety of food to choose from, always tasty, fresh and never dry. We enjoyed the pork belly and sirloin steak. Tiramisu is a must-have for dessert! We will definitely come back again.”

“Indian restaurant in Ellerslie. A real gem of a restaurant. Can't fault any aspect of this place. The food was delicious, fresh and tasty and the service was very good. We were a party of 11 and all our meals were made within a reasonable time from ordering. The decor really adds to the experience. “Walked into a hidden Gem in Kingsland. I’d never heard of this place but is a quaint Bar & Eatery that I have raved about. Started lunch with a few glasses with the view of the back of Eden Park. Steak meal was juicy and full of flavour then our sharing plates Macaroni and Cheese with Bacon as well as Spicy Chicken went down a treat. Seemed as if I inhaled the food. Owner/Manager is a cute and outgoing. Didn’t come across as a robot but actually gave us his time. Also knew what he was talking about re menu as the food was devoured in peace (Thats when you know its good and also tasty)”

“Dropped by on a Tuesday and was pleasantly surprised by their steak special with eat value and cooked just right. The mussels were fresh and nice, definitely a highlight. It is a lively spot, but I managed to get a table straight away with no wait, which was a bonus. Staff were friendly and attentive.”

“We came here for dinner on our first night in Auckland and it delivered! Niro and her team were gracious to seat us close to closing and quickly took our orders and served us. We are so grateful we had the opportunity to eat here as part of our honeymoon. The drinks were crisp and the food was incredible. I ordered the pepper steak and my husband ordered the spaghetti bolognese per the staff’s recommendation, and neither of us could stop eating and cleaned our plates. Not to mention the privacy the booth seating provided and the joyous Christmas decor! Highly recommend stopping in if you have the chance.”

“Ok...I have to admit, it was not my intention to come here. I was really looking for The Grove and since they were closed this was right next door and up stairs. What an adorable place with a variety of fresh foods, filtered water, charming ambiance and a full bar of coffee, alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. No AC but the seating area is charming overlooking the near by park and church. And did I mention free wifi.”
